Do You Need To Upload Daily? - Gaming Channel Tips

Uploading daily is an ambition of mine. But full time work and obviously social life it makes it so hard to be able to upload daily. Also taking into account my video take a lot of editing. One day though.

I try not to over work myself even if it is doing something I love so I just made myself a weekly schedule. Posting everyday would be amazing but I feel like that's for someone who's full time 2-3 times a week or even once a week is amazing as long as you don't sacrifice quality

I don't do game videos much as you know but daily uploads help a lot. I think it has to do with the recommended feed driving people to your videos.

As to quality vs quantity, I try to upload all week and I break over the weekend. Those days I'm planning my weekly uploads either by writing ideas down or thinking about possible topics.

since my genius is very rare I legit get one good idea a week but I am trying to upload more

I think the two videos you highlighted are more to do with the content than the pattern of uploads. Uploading videos in relation to "hot topics" or new games are bound to give you a spike in views.

i tried to upload daily once...hahaha. it's too fucking draining bro, but i agree it does increase views and subs but its just not worth it to me, the more you force yourself to upload, it sucks the joy out of it

This was a very interesting video. I noticed that they used to do the VEDA (Video Every Day April) to boost their count on their channel. That is why they can either do a video every day or they do the 3 video a week.

I can only upload 3 times a week even if I am on vacation. My computer is So shit that it takes about 1 hour to render and 2 hours to upload

We usually have 3 uploads and a stream per week. Daily is impossible for us cuz jobs, but with a better schedule 4 uploads and thursday stream night could work! Thx for the motivation!

No you don't need to upload everyday as long as you are enjoy in doing it. Always make each and one of them count. some might not be successful If it doesn't catch your subscriber's attention

But Kurzgesagt In a Nutshell only upload ones in a month and they have almost 4 million subscribers and almost all of them are active lol

I think if you upload quality videos everyday then it will really boost your channel and I'll try upload daily now

I have to say this is the first time I actually disagree with you Hazzador.. I feel that yes you might get more views and Subs but you have to ask what is the likelihood, Your videos are very good and very topical that is the real reason why you did so we, not because you uploaded every day.. You also talk about quantity over quality, but you have hit on a style that is actually both.. You should never take your viewers time for granted..

Of course it will help you grow but it burn you out so quickly that you will give up before the month is out.. The amount of channels I see that start that way, but then quit or slow down after a few months is huge.. This advice needs to come with a real warning label attached to it.

II believe the sweet spot for life happiness is about 3 a week and make sure those three are good videos.. Equally if you have a busy time of it, you can drop down to two on occasion.. But one a day is not going to work for many.. When you get to your size then maybe as you can really start the ball rolling when you hit 1k, but for anyone smaller, its just a great way to get YT burnout..
