Amazing played and Nice music !!
ОтветитьWell played, the fails at end were hilarious 👍😀.
ОтветитьI just fell in love with the psr with the very first style, damn!
id love to play House of the rising sun with an organ ad that on the background!
Wow, Woody...I loved it. While Latin is definitely one of my favorite genres, I really liked the French Jazz. And, I have to agree, the outtakes were hilarious...LOL!!!
I know you hated them, but the FAILS were a tremendous addition to your video. There's just something about that little record light illuminating that makes the most seasoned keyboard veteran freeze up. I love it my friend.

Didn't realise the PSR range went so high into workstation territory. No wonder it sounded good! Great vid esp the end bits
ОтветитьHow do you know which chords to play in the left hand through the rising sun.
ОтветитьHaha!!! I recognize all the fails/mistakes, when I'm making videos :)You've a nice channel, I think I have seen you on PSR Tutorial Forum.
ОтветитьLove this improv-ing ! Top notch ! Cheers. MrC
ОтветитьLovely playing. I enjoy the organ flutes most.
ОтветитьAwesome demo!!! The 60s Rising Pop Style is simply mind-blowing! I like the guitar sound you used :) The Latin song is great too.
Please do a demo of the Canadian Rock Style which suits Summer of 69. It's a great style.
Loved the first style ! <3
ОтветитьHey Woody, first off love your PSR reviews and upfront critique. I intend on having a S970 by Xmas. I was little taken back by the keyboard and lousey buttons. But i can't afford to upgrade to a Tyros. All your videos are great, thanks for the work you put into them. By the way what's that little gadget on top of your keyboard? (Not the Lizard)
Ответитьamazing video MAN, can you tell me the name of that last song please??!?
ОтветитьI am not shure, if I will connect phones in front of Yamaha, do the speakers will be off.
My Yamaha did not cut the voice. Maybe I have to use some functions ???
Lots of cool stuff you can do with the S970, I bought one to use with my Kronos 2.
Its easy to use.
Help me as I am confused. Given a choice among these which one you buy?:
1- Korg Havian 30.
2- Casio Privia PX 560M.
3- Korg P900.
4- Yamaha PSR S970.
5- Yamaha DGX 660.
great, video. thanks.
Ответитьnishe i like this....([email protected]) please connected me
ОтветитьI'm a big fan! Thanks for all your videos, especially the objective perspectives on the Yamaha PSR-S970. Your videos helped me choose this as my latest and most expensive keyboard. The features, voices and vocal processing at $2,500+ cdn, plus the Yamaha heritage, all helped make the decision for me, between Yamaha and Korg. Our local shops don't stock a huge selection of keyboards, so my research is mostly online. There's not a lot of info on the quality of the Korg arrangers' vocal processing, how much of the T.C. Helicon vocal processing features they include, and advertisements didn't seem to indicate that they were loud and proud to include everything. Whereas the Yamaha PSR-S970 is in their second generation vocal processor, and allows you to tune vocal characteristics and effects for every voice in whatever quartet, duet, or whatever vocal style you are using. It's about $1,000 cheaper than the similar Korg arranger (which doesn't really sound anywhere near $1,000 better, IMHO) I love the realistic voices on this board! To my ear, Yamaha often sounds better than the competition, although Roland and Korg are right up there with realistic instrument voices. I am interested in all kinds of keyboards, especially Kronos and other high end workstations.
Thanks again, and cheers!
thanks for the video I'm going to get me the psr s970
ОтветитьVery, very nice vid's ! The thing I like most are the mistakes at the end! So recognizable, it is a pleasure to see! 😃😉
ОтветитьI'm looking for some opinions about this instrument
ОтветитьDear Woody - Great Video again. At 0449, how did you change the instrument sound from Sax to the next one ? I currently use the 1-8 Registration Memory buttons but you didnt press any of those at that point so I would like to understand what you have done please. Best wishes, David
Ответитьveryy good,,,
ОтветитьJust checked this video after watching your video 'sold my keyboards but kept three'....I can see why you kept this one, lovely instrument.
ОтветитьThat looks like a K&M Spider Pro stand. I have one of those and they're great. It's my favorite stand. I love all of the accessories that you can get for it.
This sounds great, but as a pianist, I have trouble relating to this kind of "band in a box" keyboard. I've played some of Yamaha's big Electone organs, and I always feel like I'm arranging a kind of recorded song playback rather than just playing something myself. But that's just me and my prejudices. You're obviously having lots of fun with it.
Man, this keyboard here in Brazil costs more than a Roland Fantom G!!! LOL!!!
ОтветитьNice playing.
ОтветитьThat was great.. What's the name of the 2nd song
ОтветитьThe end FAIL bits, i get that a lot lately lol, great video i think the PSR-S970 is a great little keyboard, thanks :)
ОтветитьLove your clap
ОтветитьI just want to say thanks for the "Fail" section at the end!
See, those who do lessons & instructional things can sometimes come across as all-superior (or rather make the recipients feel all-inferior), which is very off putting. So having the insight to add this sort of disarming gesture is very generous.
I love that you added in the out takes. Shows you are human, and shows the rest of us it's NOT all that easy. Thanks for the vids. I own, but unfortunately, seldom play, a PSR S 950. Keep making music. And keep breathin'.
ОтветитьHi Woody! Can you help me please? What should i buy? Yamaha psr s970 or sx700? Same price!
ОтветитьYesssssd
ОтветитьWow so cool.
ОтветитьI laughed my *ss off with the bloopers! good thing you told me about you having played this keyboard too! LOL!
