Grand Design was the first to start using Mercedes 4500 Sprinter chassis where previously all manufacturers built on the 3500 chassis. Winnebago just did same with the View/Navion 24T so let's hope it is not an industry trend. Here is the problem - both the 3500 and 4500 chassis have the same GCVR of 15250, and towing capacity is calculated GCWR minus the GVWR. the 3500 chassis has a 11030 GVWR resulting in a tow capacity of 4220 lbs. The 4500 chassis with heavier components, such as suspension and axels is able to support a GVWR of 12125, but with the same upper GCVR of 15250, towing capacity drops to 3125 lbs. Essentially, the1095 lb difference in GVWR, enables greater OCCC in the 4500, but at the cost of towing. This eliminates some popular TOADS including the Jeep Wrangler which is upper limit borderline on the 3500 anyway, to popular cars in the 3200-3800 lb class including the Chevy Trailblazer/Buick Encore GX twins (1.8L AWD only), Chevy Equinox (not the new EV), and the Ford Escape/Maverick (hybrids only). Building on the 4500 chassis is a fail if you plan to tow, or want it as an option in the future.

Wondering if the inverter can be easily changed to 2000 watt or 3000 watt

Interior I loved the bed size. Skylights in the overcab bunk just add heat/cold, that acrylic pop out window in slide will scratch. The venting style is bound to get ripped off when someone forgets to close it before slide is pulled in. Big kichen is nice. Outside storage is just lacking compared to many designs. The battery size and inverter seem undersized compared to what seems to be desired in high end rvs now. The AC is well designed.
Overall very nice. Oh, the kitchen sink is super nice.

This is near perfect setup. Paint, chassis, fit, for, function, bathroom all amazing! The only thing I would change or set of options, is replace the 1000watt inverter with 3000w so I can run the ac at night without generator. Have the option to replace diesel generator with solar generator, and option for the propane to be replaced with a compartment that hold 11lb propane for outdoor hook-up, and extra storage. Replace gas stove with induction stove since the coach will have a mountain of electrical power. These changes would make it the awesome off grid. Add 4x4 M chassis and it would be the ultimate upgrade.
