Fuji Velvia every time for me, the Portra is washed out for my taste. I just sold my Nikon kit to buy a Fuji X-T1 to use the film simulation modes. Not in the same league as your wooden monster, but I’m happy 😂
ОтветитьI loved your comment about the RZ being a beast of a camera. I shot weddings for 13 years with an RB67 with a prism viewfinder and then a Norman flash unit attached. It weighed 10 lbs., and then the Norman battery pack was another 10 lbs.!
Ответитьman the sky in that last one!
ОтветитьHey Nick, great Job and fantastic fotos. Love it! Which light meter do you use in this video?
ОтветитьMamiya looks like that sony toy ,love magnific RZ/RB 67!!!!
Fantastic photographs and stunning place!
Excellent , also the video of the highway from the shiny door panels at 7.40. It was god seeing the trains roll by. And at 8.03 the sign push it a stop means another conventional celluloid user has been there . I'm just going to see if I can find out where you were.
ОтветитьI live right on Route 66, so I had to watch this video first..
ОтветитьThat Shen Hao TFC 617-A panoramic 6x17 are just amazing, "must saving up"
ОтветитьWhere can I buy an adapter to de-center the lens like the one you are using on your RZ 67 camera for my Mamiya RB 67 Pro S camera? Thanks.
ОтветитьDefinitely 2.5 on the Carver scale.
ОтветитьTo the 61 people who downvoted this video.... there's something seriously wrong with you
ОтветитьDude. Thank you for not playing lo-fi music and actually playing music that fit the scene.
ОтветитьI have to say that I loved this video so much that I had to watch it again! Superb!
ОтветитьMuy bonito paseo, gracias
ОтветитьHey I really enjoy you videos I feel like I'm there with you. if you're ever in Fort Worth Texas area, you might come by and see my 3D pictures I take in transparency , with my RB67 cameras you wouldn't believe.
ОтветитьThanks another excellent video. That is a slick focusing cloth not to big. I'd like to get one for my Speed Graphic just in case. What model was that cloth?
ОтветитьOMG THE LAST SHOT, MAN 😱
ОтветитьGenuine question here: what do you have against sunset photography? Or at least using the sunset as a piece of your photograph.
Ответитьyou rock
ОтветитьYou can’t really appreciate the rz67 for the tank that it is until you are holding it in your hands. When you watch videos you’re like, “yeah…it’s a little bit bigger than my mamiya 645 pro” Understatement 😂
ОтветитьVery nice Nick…never get tired on watching your videos man! I’m in the brink on buying a Mamiya RB67 SD for my collection! Stay safe…Cheers!
ОтветитьVery entertaining video,so entertaining that I had to subscribe so I could watch more
Ответить"too pretty not to shoot it, so I just had to shoot it" yup, just like the beginning of Bambi.. too soon?
ОтветитьThat pause when you eat lunch where you're about to speak but finally only take another bite made me spit my drink. Awesome video!
ОтветитьFantastic artwork . I really like.
ОтветитьThis one never gets old. Looking forward to the next one!
ОтветитьDude your style reminds me of Daytripper, nice video. I shot 35MM on an Olympus OMG and PrakTiSix IIa. Shot DSLR on a Canon T6i.
ОтветитьThis is a video that I rewatch every few months. The desert landscape and the abandoned structures are the primary draw. The house at the beginning has since been graffiti tagged so your documentation of the place is fortuitous. Plus I needed a desert escape from the perpetual rain and overcast of the Pacific Northwest. You have always been good for that Nick. A good reminder of, "If you see it, photograph it." Nothing remains the same.
ОтветитьI am not sure, how I missed this... but talking from the perspective of 2022 , this is one of the best videos I have seen in the last 5 years!
ОтветитьI'm a black & white photographer but i admit your color pic's are stunning! Like them alot...
ОтветитьI got into photography in the mirrorless cameras. I find this fascinating!
ОтветитьYour polaroid work is great man.
ОтветитьYea those desert sunset are something else. I am really loving your channel.
Ответитьhave you shot at the Salton Sea???? and do you shoot with ilford HP5
ОтветитьEnjoy your videos. Very informative and entertaining. The photos though boring.
ОтветитьAh so nice. Reminds me of a lot of the neat old houses and building where I live. Can you come where I live too plz and photography all the things left before the california people destroy it all with all their artificial suburbanite houses.
ОтветитьI see you keep your films in a transportable cool box. Question: Doesn't it damage the films if you put them in the camera when they are cool? I'm asking this because it's been said over and over again that you should let the film you've taken out of the fridge sit at normal temperatures for a few hours before you put it in the camera.
ОтветитьGreat job Mate
ОтветитьAll those trains passing by make for great shots, but you didn't take any of them...
ОтветитьFunny story: I'm mixing the sound of a campaign about Andalucía and I've extracted the shutter sound of your camera from this video for your segment in Tabernas :D
ОтветитьIs we call it poverty porn
Ответить😢 i can't follow the colours, sir. I usually can't watch at light on my mobile. Hopefully one day I'll be Ur student for real and learn. I'm with dim light and yellowish screen ... 🤭🤭🤭🤭 But colours look gopd to me, anyways 🤭🤭🤭🤭 btw... U don't drink milk shakes or coffee? ☕ In the mornings? 😕
Ответить🙋🏼want Polaroid 1 step 2 😁
ОтветитьLike it, sir 😁
ОтветитьI wonder how you'll shoot street photography 😁 teach us 😁🤗 please 😁
ОтветитьIm just starting some 6x12 shooting, or as I like to call it....5 less than Nick Carver. My gf is like...what are you shooting today? "Five less than Nick Carver" LOL
Im using a 6x12 back I got in a darkroom cleanout a few years back during the time that shall not be mentioned, on my Chamonix 4x5....toying with the idea of buying a 6x17 adapter or just saving for a shen hao.....
So glad I'm not the only one who bumps his tripod and has to start again!
ОтветитьMy favourite part of the video was the "eating lunch" montage
