When I walked around the island, years before these guys started, a local told me that his family has lived in the area since the 1770's and the stories were that the treasure was more to the east along the coast line as the islands beach starts to curve around to the north side of the island. Each of these is a lense of shattered impure peridotite, and nothing like Rick's sphere. What does look like the sphere from here are the olivene meteorites up for sale. Not the pallisite peridot included iron nickel meteorites use as gems, but the fine-grained rocky stuff. Prove me wrong.
