Konniks are a great and versatile cavalry/infantry hybrid unit ofcourse, though here the Flemish Militia almost got the better of them :D.

The dismounted Konnik seems not upgraded

It's possible to beat Mamelukes with konniks on equal numbers (although the enemy has to mess up his micro a bit). I'd say 40% chance of winning
