I Did NOT Expect This From Germany... (Saxon Switzerland National Park)

This may have been one of the most stunning places I have seen in Germany yet. Yes, I have gone to many other amazing locations on this trip, including the Devil’s Bridge and around Berlin, but I did not think Germany had something to offer like this…

The Bastei is one of the coolest places in Germany. This is a rock formation, made from water erosion over a million years ago. The Neurathen Castle was built in 1592, in this area, within Saxon Switzerland National Park. This was built far back In 1824, a wooden bridge was constructed to link some of these formations together.

I decided that on my way to Berlin from The Czech, I would stop here and do the hike from the bottom, to the top. But first, I had to take a literal ferry across the river.
