I have been self employed, with usually 4-6 employees, and on avg we gross 2m in revenue a yr. I am nervous as I sort of understand enough where I stopped filing 1040 4 yrs ago. But I always always get the customers requiring a w9. I've searched and tried to find an alternate form so I love your ideas , but I would also like to be more knowledgeable on the facts of why it's technically not legal to ask for a w9

The california FTB seems to not follow the law , has anyone else had this experience and was successful in dealing with them. The IRS seems to follow the law.

Just out of curiosity, I tried to find the definition of "nationality" in Canadian law, but could never find it.

I also tried to find the definition of the word "naturalization", but couldn't find it either. Instead, I would get the procedures for naturalization, but not the definition itself.

Then I tried to look up the same words in British law. Not there. They have a British Nationality and Citizenship Act, but they never define the word "nationality."

It's funny because "everyone has a right to a NATIONALITY, and no one should be arbitrarily deprived of it or denied to change it", but nobody will tell you what nationality is and how to acquire it.

The bible refers to us as man and woman a person is a legal entity not natrual man or woman. 💯

I FOUND IT!!! As he states that in title 26, §3401(c). Employee in the context of wage tax withholding.
We dont fit that definition. Heres the kicker. §3402 (p)
Voluntary withholding agreements
"(1) Certain Federal payments
(A) In general
If, at the time a specified Federal payment is made to any person, a request by such person is in effect that such payment be subject to withholding under this chapter, then for purposes of this chapter and so much of subtitle F as relates to this chapter, such payment shall be treated as if it were a payment of wages by an employer to an employee."
Two MAJOR words will be over looked. "as if"
We treat federal reserve notes AS IF it is money when it is only legal tender.
But since we see it as so, it is "money"
The same context applies here.

It sits at my desk within arm's reach as I reference it frequently. If you haven't read it yet you have no idea what you're missing.

On my last JURY DUTY summons upon answering the online question whether you're a US CITIZEN or not, when answering NO, they require you to then send proof/ documentation that you're not a US CITIZEN.

After looking at the federal Immigration and Naturalization Act, I have concluded that there are three (3) categories of citizen of The United States of America; United States citizen is one of the category.

I think the difference between now and 2008 is the level of corruption in every last itty bitty corner of our so-called government being so boldly exposed. The one message I would give to everyone commenting about forms such as 1099 or W4 is that they have a specific purpose. Do not use those forms outside their functions. For example, the W4 is to be filled out by a non-resident alien only. If you fill one out and put exempt you are still telling the IRS you're a foreigner.

I have read Dave's book Income Tax Shattering the Myths once all the way through, and this is my second time watching this video. I have picked up the book a few more times to review certain sections. I will definitely read it start to finish again at least one more time. It is quite mind blowing and is a bit of an emotional roller coaster to know the facts and truth about our government and the level of brainwashing that I (and we all) have experienced in my life. Now I can't unsee or un-know what I now see and know. 🙂

Once everything has gone to shit (you're getting fired) and prior to a judgment from the court that says " they win, you lose, you don't get paid", what do you think about filing a Form 1099-C, Cancellation of Debt in order to reverse that tax liability onto the person that is withholding the money from you?
