still havent forgiven you for using cultist sim music for last of us 2
ОтветитьHey new Colossus was good
Ответитьtbf with kojima, at least what he makes is pretentious and entertaining
ОтветитьSpec Ops: The Line has to be one of my favorite performances by Nolan North. He's not playing an optimistic adventurer, or a bombastic mercenary, or a gang leader, but a professional soldier slowly turning into a monster.
ОтветитьWhile Spec Ops The Line's gameplay is a piece of dog sh*t, Last Of Us 2's gameplay is a well-crafted piece of killing simulator this is the difference ı think. (Spec Ops The Line has boring storytelling because the gameplay is bad)
Ответитьshe*
ОтветитьImagine killing hundreds of people as joel and ellie, but out of all of them, only 1 person comes back for revenge
ОтветитьI still remember the arguments I had with my friends (ex-friends now) over TLOU PT II
They claimed Abby was morally justified in killing Joel which, is fine on paper. But the circumstances leading up to that just went out the fucking window. Joel didn't care who she was but still saved her, only for the bitch to kneecap him the second she got the chance. There was no conflict, no hesitation just: eyuup! You gotta die old man!
Yet I was the one who wasn't giving her enough credit. I now realize that they were well and truly WOKE by that point (one recently came out as transgender, and the other was a LGBTQ+ activist) and that they were not viewing the game from a completely unbiased stance. Admittedly neither was I. but I was just salty that they killed Joel in such an utterly disrespectful way. He should've died, yes - but not like that. It was cruel and unnecessary.
I also completely forgot there were zombies in LOU2
ОтветитьAlso I’ve been to Jackson Hole or as it should be called “ The Hole “ bunch of highrider scum and villainy from Commifornia and Washington running from the consequences of their votes.
ОтветитьAfter all THIS, do you feel like a hero yet?
(Spec is one of my favorites games).
So many great games get disgusting sequels... making it look like the first one was a accident instead of a culmination of passion, talent and effort.
ОтветитьYour mom works at night! Both games are fantastic
Ответитьi am gonna play and come back later
ОтветитьU are comparing two games that are way different
Ответитьi legit wish spec ops would let us not shoot that mortar, would have been waaay more impactful
ОтветитьI think Last of us 2 works just fine and yall just jumped on the hate band wagon like morons and stuck to it. "How can Ellie possibly spare this manly non-attractive woman we all hate?" Bitch, Ellie lost Joel, Abby lost EVERYONE she ever cared about, she gave her retribution and then some, killing her by the end would almost be a mercy act. Judge with your brains, not your emotions
ОтветитьTlou2 is one of the best games ever made, with one of the best stories and some of the best characters. Abby is one of the best female heroines ever portrayed. Love it. I also love spec ops, but tlou2 is better in every single aspect.
ОтветитьWorks in what way?
ОтветитьOf course some dude named "the Almighty loli" has some NPC ass take on TLOU2 cause he jumped on a hate bandwagon and is comparing it to an entirely different story. What an actual joke
ОтветитьLately Spec Ops the line was deleted from all digital shops. R.I.P. John Walker.
ОтветитьSpec Ops should have included the "Just Leave" ending just like Far Cry.
ОтветитьI really hate Neil Druckman. Apart from taking over TLoU franchise, creating that DLC and this abomination of a sequel, which I despise until this day and the future, he was responsible for the lay-off of Amy Hennig. Amy was the brain behind the whole fixing of the Legacy of Kain timeline, an amazing unfinished story about Determinism and Freewill in a story that circles around Kain and his right hand: Raziel.
ОтветитьTlou 2:Fart srenk, I will let go of the one who killed my loved ones
Spec ops the line: IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, YOU TURNED US FUCKING KILLERS, YOU LEFT ME TO DIE. 47 Innocent someone must answer for your sins Walker, only the strong are able to deny the evil, and I could not
I really wish there was a small radio station(not marked in any way) we could use in the begging after we encountered the first group of enemies
Picture this:
After we kill the first insurgents if we decide to come back we run into an ambush waiting us at the radio station( if player recalls it exists)
We kill the enemies and the last one with a small radio ( presumable the commander) runs away with Walker screaming
“Get him, he is the commander!” luring us to the plane where the game continues as normal
If the player stays and uses the radio the evac cutscene triggers
Then we would have had the chance to call for reinforcements but WE CHOSE to chase the guy and the message would be that much stronger
If the player is like Walker for complaining about not having a choice, who is the developer that created these situations and profited financially from it?
ОтветитьThe cherry on top is that all the pogressive fans Neal has being trying to cater to turned on him because he suppots Israel. And now the "intellectual" meaning of the game is genociding palastinians, somehow.
ОтветитьI just watched this video, and i totally agree with you
ОтветитьTLOU2's character arc:
During the endgame, Ellie decides that...
"I will spare the killer of my father figure, of which I have been chasing for basically the whole game. This makes me a good person because the script says so. Oh no, me wife dead lol"
SO:TL's character arc:
Throught the game, Captain Martin Walker...
*bombs an entire camp that was meant to evacuate civilians, using White Phosphorus mortars, since he mistook the civvies for the "rogue" 33rd Infantry Battalion through the IR camera*
"We're an american evacuation force. We're here to save you all, but first... The 33rd will pay."
*destroys Dubai's remaining water supplies, assisting the C.I.A. in covering up the U.S. Government's incompetence in helping them*
*later on, proceeds to shoot a crowd of civilians for hanging your squadmate*
*then proceeds to deny it all and blames a man who's been long dead for his own deeds*
And this motherfucker has the audacity to say: "I never meant to hurt anyone..."
THIS is how you write realistic evil.
Shoutout to naughty dog for the great depiction of how a woman acts towards the father of the child. Y’all got it spot on.
ОтветитьThe part that drives me nuts the most about the whole Lev/Lily plotline and why it was blatantly added for social political points as well as to act as a shield for the rest of the shitty narrative is that the Seraphites are literally the only faction that refers to Lev by her original name and refer to her as a girl. To be fair, you only see Lev interact with four factions: The Seraphites, the WLF, Ellie's group, and the Rattlers. Now, I can understand the WLF and Ellie respecting Lev's preferred pronouns as they're presented as progressive and/or don't know that Lev is actually a female, and The Seraphites refusing to do so because Neil has to shoehorn his anti-religious fundamentalist messaging in, but there is no reason why Fat Geralt and the other Rattlers would refer to Lev as a boy. They're slavers who literally treat living people as cattle. I could see initially mistaking a scrawny, androgynous Asian kid as a boy, but I guarantee you that as soon as Lev and Abby were taken to the Rattler's compound, both would be given an extensive physical to make sure they weren't bitten and were viable slave stock. Plus, Lev is too scrawny for manual labor in the hot, SoCal sun. She definitely would be kept as a different kind of slave, if you know what I mean. So, there is no reason that the Rattlers would respect Lev's preferred gender identity.
ОтветитьYou can't just compare an undoubted masterpiece to a fucking gay propoganda.
ОтветитьSpec ops the line is honestly in my top three favorite shooters of all time. Every time I play it I cry
ОтветитьMy best friend/brother refuses to see that tlou2 sucks dick and loves praising it. It’s so goddamn annoying
ОтветитьSaying that Dina is comparing Outbreak Day to the Holocaust is wrong. She’s not saying they’re equal in terms of atrocity, she’s saying it’s just another hardship her family has had to endure in their history. She didn’t say “Wow! Im just like a holocaust survivor!” She’s saying she comes from a long line of survivors who have endured despite many things in history bringing them close to extinction, and that gives her hope and pride.
ОтветитьThe “best” ending would be turning the game off and walking away.
ОтветитьOne straight the other gay. Simple answer
ОтветитьThank you for calling out Hideo Kojima for the hack that he is. Dude has always been more interested in being a Hollywood celebrity than making good games.
ОтветитьThe "get out" ending should have been unlocked on NG+
ОтветитьBig difference between the representation/diversity in TLOU1 vs. 2 was evident. TLOU was headed by Amy Hennig: a great writer, talented, and was behind some of the best games from ND. TLOU2 was headed by Druckmann: who was rumored to have Amy forced out of the company, forcing an strong & intelligent woman out of the company and taking her position while professing himself a hardcore feminist.
ОтветитьThe commentary on Walker's psyche in Spec Ops is even more relevant now that the US is out of Afghanistan and we've had time to reflect on whether it was all worth it. For years, you had a lot of guys in special operations trying to justify that we were there to do the right thing. I recently saw a YT short where a Marine Raider basically said that the war in the Middle East was all for nothing and his friends died for nothing. I also see other interviews on podcasts where special operations guys talk rather lightheartedly about and even taking pride in having taken lives, which maybe is all a cope for all the shit they've seen and done over there. Spec Ops: the Line is the gift that keeps on giving, even if that gift is about as cheery as a lump of coal
ОтветитьBoth games are good,retarded idiot
