That is what Sunday's Dinner was all about, sharing conversations and meals. This generation of today lacks respect, sharing, and caring for others. Growing up, I would look forward to smelling my grandmother's cooking in the kitchen and anticipating my family members of aunts, uncles, cousins, and neighbors coming over to share. Ummm huh .... something ain't right 

Well I am just now seeing this video but I can definitely share what I cooked last Sunday for dinner lol... I made homemade chicken and dressing with baked chicken leg quarters, homemade Macaroni and cheese, collard greens with ham hock, slow cooked pinto beans in the crock pot and buttered rolls. For dessert I made a homade 5 flavor pound cake...

I understand exactly what you talked about Sunday dinner was almost a ceremony at my moms house. It was always filled with warmth, laughs, and love. It was an awesome way to end the week and to start a new week. Thanks for sharing what you thought Sunday dinners were. I have a family if my own now and have been doing this without even thinking why. I hope this tradition passes on to my future children.

It's good to see the love and closeness of ur family. One day when I do start a family I will have these traditional dinners  with family and friends.

I started doing Sunday dinners again with my adult sons. When they were growing up, our daily suppers and Sunday dinners were the times when we truly bonded as a family. we would tease and joke for a couple hours at the table. Now...we have resumed that tradition again. after every Sunday dinner we play cards foe a few hours. there's always a ton of laughter. I stumbled across your video by accident and just had to subscribe! I'm up here in Canada and I love corn bread (I make my own from scratch) and don't have much opportunities to eat authentic southern style foods. would love a video on your fave recipes!

Sunday dinners as a child were my favorite...😊 I miss my grandma too, she just passed 5 months ago. But she is forever in my heart and I think of her when I cook.

hi there, new subscriber and I have to say I love this message. I have to admit I have allowed my kids (6+, we foster) to eat scattered about the house but I have been working on having.g us all come together. as a child growing up we always ate at the table bit as life got busy, the house is a frenzy on the everyday it was easy to feed them and watch them scattering but recently I have seen what I have been missing, memories made and I have to hit the reset button and prioritize. we always send out meals to our elderly neighbors anyways but we need to come together too. thanks so much for sharing. please pop over to my channel sometime and say hi. Me growing up Sunday Dinner was always important but we never had that moment to sit around table with each other my mom would cook and leave as me now I have kids I wanted to do something different I love to cook ....so I try to keep the traditional Sunday Dinner going inviting my family and everyone having a great time ..Thank you for sharing this cause I've learn more about Sunday Dinner and your absolutely right everyone needs to be at table...

miss Sonya I've learned something else and you will love it for your ribs ok get some hot sauce pour hot sauce all over the ribs and let it soak for days or a few hours omg they will be falling off the bone rather you bake or grill them I just did it for Christmas
