More excuses for why we haven't seen the "proof" that UFO believers insist is out there. After all of these prediction failures, the burden of proof in now definitely on those promoting such claims.
ОтветитьAt min 49 Sounds like you were about to mention selling weapons to a certain nation with an I but changed course. Interesting ...
ОтветитьBen, that moustache is adorable on you!
Oh -- and I enjoyed the interview, thanks!
super interesting exchange

ОтветитьJust want to say, i very much Like your Podcast 😊
ОтветитьGreat episode guys
ОтветитьHalf way through and I have to say Robert Powell does not come across as very objective nor scientific. He said a few disappointing things.
One is that he has heard both positive and negative things about whistle-blower Jason Sands. And so he takes the position that Sands is probably not legitimate. What??? He is basing his opinion on gossip essentially. Rather than listen to Sands reveal his working experience and make a judgement on that, Powell is just dismissing a potential 1st hand whistle-blower without any scrutiny at all. The negative comments about Sands could mainly come from disinformation agents trying to undermine Sands. So making a judgement based on hearing negative things is simply not good enough.
Sands has an issue that he is very willing to discuss his own views about the Phenomenon. These cannot be taken as any kind of testimony and I don't agree with some of Sands personal opinions. However, Sands should only be judged on testimony from his direct work experience with the Legacy Program. I have heard a bit of that and nothing he has said seems untrustworthy. I'd like to hear a specific analysis of Sand's revelations which may call into question with solid substance and argument regarding anything he has revealed, because everything else just amounts to casting vague aspersions with no substance, and no crediblity. Remember that there is an active disinformation campaign against Grusch and all credible whistle-blowers who are now appearing in public.
Powell also gives no reason to distrust Grusch, but somehow says he is only 50/50 convinced that the US is in possession of NHI craft. What?? again? There are many corroborating facts that lead anyone towards understanding that Grusch must be correct. Powell gave no rationale for his skepticism, and so comes across as just your average person with not enough knowledge of the subject to come to a hard conclusion. And he wants us to buy his book?
How about Powell looks at all the facts and circumstances surrounding Grusch's whistle-blowing. 1. Grusch has an impeccable background, he does everything by the book and is a man of high integrity and honesty 2. Grusch has zero motivation to lie, he has a professional reputation to maintain, and nothing to gain from revealing the biggest story in human history. 3. Grusch has had his and his families lives threatened for revealing the Legacy Program (so he must be speaking the truth otherwise why would anyone do that?) 4. There is tangible evidence in terms of classified documents and photos which have been submitted as evidence 5. The ICIG is pursuing Grusch's whistle-blower complaint because it is "credible and urgent ", which means there is a legal case in progress 6. Grusch spent 4 years interviewing 40 witnesses in SCIF settings in an investigation to discover what was going on in the UAP Legacy Program - it was his job to do this and therefore not just some chatter over coffee (Powell was so wrongly suggesting as the means by which Grusch came to some of his conclusions. Powell therefore has no idea what he is talking about) 7. Several highly placed professionals involved with the Legacy Program in some way, have gone public and reinforced that Grusch is telling an accurate account. E.g. Karl Nell explicitly backed up Grusch on NHI visitors, a number of anonymous people working with the Legacy Program have given further details following Grusch's testimony, such as we have 12-18 craft, that there are at least 3 different shapes, that individuals on the Program suggested allowing more academic or professional knowledge to be brought in to help with reverse engineering work but the management (gatekeepers) decided it was to risky from a secrecy standpoint, etc. These are Mark von Renenkamph's sources. Coulthart has sources who work on the Legacy Program and Corbell has one or two friends who are inside the Legacy Program. So there is no lack of corroboration about a non-human crash retrieval and reverse engineering program, from journalists and highly credible military or intelligence professionals. 7. There are now 40+ first hand whistle-blowers who have given testimony to the Senate Intel Committee, which must back up what Grusch has revealed otherwise these Legacy staff would not exist to go through the process! 8. The UAP Bill indicates that Congress believes the Legacy Program exists and has language defining that Program, defining non-human intelligence, and clauses forcing disclosure and ensuring recovery of non-human biologics and technology from private aerospace corporations to be taken under US government ownership, amongst other things. 9. I'll stop there, but I could go on and on with other supporting points to add. All together the 8 key facts above make Grusch and his testimony appear to be 100% true, with no reason to doubt it whatsoever. No one has been able to discredit Grusch or anything he has said. In fact quite the opposite.
NASA's Bill Nelson tried to smear Grusch in a press conference by spouting direct lies in public which is a further indication that Grusch is under attack from the Legacy Program gatekeepers.
So, despite his 20hrs per week, Powell has not done sufficient analysis to to determine if craft are in US possession, but the evidence all points to that being absolutely true. Why is he muddying the water with his unscientific 50%r? He is supposed to have a scientific and analytical mind. I was considering buying his book but not now.
And funnily enough I too have worked in computer design including new CPU and other chip designs and fabrication. I too filed a patent in my career. So I have similar credentials to Powell, before anyone thinks that makes a difference. But I would expect more rational and analytical statements from someone on the SCU. Not this casual disinformation style spreading of uncertainty which has no basis at present.
I do agree with Powell's ET hypothesis as the main explanation for NHI visitors. It's the the most likely answer over everything else. But Powell uses 6000 planets in a goldilocks zone as good evidence. He is missing the billions and billions of planets across the universe, which have a good chance of being habitable. That is stronger evidence for ET civilisations scattered across the galaxy and universe. Plus there are 5 known main species who are described by eyewitnesses, and recorded in various different cases (Danny Sheehan has directly stated he has evidence from his legal career which supports 5 species : Tall Whites, Short greys, Tall greys, Mantis beings, Reptilian beings). So that could easily be 5 civilisations visiting Earth, not counting numerous low volume accounts of other types of beings which don't fit with the 5 main types. So possibly many other civilisations have also passed through.
Thumbs 👍 for B
ОтветитьAlrite B , hope ya good pal ❤
Ответитьi wonder why does he draw the starting line for the phenomena at 1942. As there was a decades long period of so-called "mystery airships" flying around, while perhaps there's just nothing to it, i'd love to see the UFO media and the researchers cover that part of history much more
ОтветитьAnother retiree looking for a hobby that brings absolutely nothing to the topic. So tired of these guys speculate, do not care about opinions anymore only physical evidence. This guy wants to be part of the show more than most. Like the but I am dumber after listening to his silly and over used analogies.
ОтветитьThe argument that NHI cannot be malevolent because such a species would annihilate themselves before achieving interstellar travel has to be to most unscientific, irrational and irresponsible argument I have ever heard.
We have an n=0 sample size of examples of species that has achieved interstellar travel. We have no idea of the characteristics required to achieve that. For all we know, aggressiveness could be required if a species lives in a local environment where multiple species are competing for planets and resources.
Furthermore, this argument is irresponsible because when faced with an unknown unknown (the intent of NHI visiting us), to make any assumptions that could compromise the security of our species is a totally untenable position.
If Mr Powell is professing a scientific standpoint on the phenomenon, he should stick to the facts, rather than making nonsense arguments.
❤️ this pod and little tash 👀

ОтветитьIMO, the biggest insight gap among UFO researchers is the likelihood that any truly advanced civilization would have mastery of psi phenomena and non-local consciousness, and therefore be able to manipulate physical reality in myriad ways with very low resource demands. Pls can you pester future "nuts & bolts" guests about this! :)
ОтветитьGreat guest, great host. Intelligent conversation. Another belter. Ben needs a bigger audience.
ОтветитьI don't always comment but this was very interesting as all your interviews are. A good channel with great guests. 👌👍👍
ОтветитьAnyone else getting Brains from Thunderbirds vibes?? 🤣😜!! Seriously though, another great chat Ben, thanks 🙏
ОтветитьThanks Ben, really interesting as usual.
Regarding your comments below, funnily enough I have just finished Surviving Death by Leslie Keane and concur, it's brilliant.
Really interesting, thank you!
ОтветитьGreat interview. I learned some new ideas. Just finishing Leslie Kean's book. I hope it doesn't turn out that aliens live in the sea!
