Why do you think that it is so extremely rare for any journalist to be allowed inside a Chinese factory ?
This smells fake, like PR – not at all representative of reality

I worked in a Lee factory here in the USA when I was in my 20s. It was nowhere near as clean as that one in China. Im glad to know the employees are being treated better than back when i worked in a factory.

A little question, the ‘factory’ visit has only few seconds showing the actual production area and workers, is it prohibited ?

It's an imbalance of trade issue with so many years of so much local supply offshored that importing countries are heading towards bankruptcy, and economic collapse. Not just of currency, but also capital for local employment. The elite have become wealthy importers at the expense of their populations. Transferring the manufacturing to other low cost counties just continues the outflow of capital.

THE PROBLEM WITH THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY IN CHINA IS THEY USE CHINESE SIZES WITCH SIZES OF CLOTHING ARE MUCH SMALLER THAN AMERICAN SIZES EXAMPLE A 2X MENS SHIRTS IN AMERICA ARE 2 SIZES LARGER THAN THAN CHINA .CHINA 2X IS TWO TIMES SMALLER IN CHINA AND CHEAPLY MADE. SIMPLY JUNK. NO QUALITY WHATSOEVER. THIS OWNER PAY 25 CENTS AN HOUR . HE USES CHILD LABOR AND SWEATSHOPS.

It’s alright to promote China’s products but the companies that produce them are making their products in China for cheap labor and higher profits. I am all for buying good quality made in China products provided they also pay their laborers fair wages.

I noticed China made clothes have declined, especially the cut-outs of garment, that would be their size fitting is bad... their pattern sizing is ridiculous.
Years ago China had a much better system of using quality materials and their Patterns for sizes were spot on for Western society.
In the past what my country imported from China everything was of high quality... now l buy nothing Chinese.

Many factories in China use child workers, hiding them whenever inspectors arrive. Good thing to discuss.

I’ve been working in Textiles industry( main for garment, home textiles ) here in China as quality guy for 20+years, and visited at least 1000 factories started in 2001 to manage quality for some big US companies. This factory s/b a good and “big” one nowadays in China, as many have shifted to smaller and smaller size than before due to increasing cost and workers shortage, but Quality and Efficiency are still the advantages others can’t complete…

In India, ruling corrupted politicians get commissions, bribes from foreign companies and allow to suck nation's resources (human, water, air ...) and pollute. Human resources are large in India.

Solution is simple for China.
They was underdeveloped back in time, new they catching up, they still need to make good stuff, not only some items, when that happen, they will be like usa and eu and their salary will go up and product will be same price and that's it. No need to force them to slow down.

Medical field nutjobs are Frankenstein mad too. Look into xioping Ren and this SERGIO GUY. HILLARY CLINTON CREW is all about making a science study out of people that didn't vote for her along with the Bidens and their connections to the Chinese is all kinds of ways.

Hornby products (Model Trains) are also made in China The one that stood out to me was the quality control, inspecting every item before it leaves the factory. The factories where Hornby products are made do not do that. They just made another price increase of 10%. Thank you for making this video. Martin. (Thailand)

Videos can be created giving a great impression. Of a perfect workplace. But in reality they would not let you see anything detrimental to company. How come. Production prices. Don't reflect in other countries. Eg Apple phones they say cost under $20. Yet in Australia a thousand dollars cost is normal

If you have any illusions about China's long term objectives, read Guillaume Pitron's excellent book "The Rare Earth Metal War" about how China effectively monopolized not only the rear earth metal mining sector but also the battery industry by a mix of subsidies, raw material restrictions aimed at global competitors who would not share their technology, joint venture requirements to get access to the Chinese market and a complete ignorance of any environmental consequences. Next up are downstream industries like electrical vehicles, solar panels and wind turbines.
Of course it will be expensive to re-shore these industries to continents with stricter emission rules and an organized labor force. It will also require a changed mindset, where new mining projects are not stopped by the environmental movement and local communities saying "not in my backyard". If we want to make the transition to green energy without becoming completely dependent on China, we will simply have to make some sacrifices.
