I have a passion for photography and film making. I took some classes in N.Y. and L.A. in film making and different types of still photography. I learnt a lot by myself too and got into concert photography, lifestyle, architectural, events like weddings etc... I helped out master photographers doing high fashion. Now I want to start my own modeling agency because I have made great contacts with clothes designers and magazine owners. So please suggest where do I start from.... do i open an office first ? Or do I recruit models to take photographs of in order to show my new clients ? I am about to open a website to post everything on..... good or bad ?

Has anyone heard of thrive elite management. Im questioning if they are legit or a scam. I just have a phone interview with them. Would love to hear what you think or if you heard of them. I'm looking for a reputable management or agency in California.

A couple of agents want me I’ve never Done it before I had a photo shoot and they got these agency’s to email me
they want me to join one of them so they will find me work but I have to pay £100 for a year or £150 for two years , is that normal for them to be asking for money?

What about into modeling I sign into that one but don't knw if it legit they sent me an email saying a refundable deposit is $50 or $100 and all I have to do is call them?

Can you please confirm if otus models is genuine? Or do any model agency asks for nude photo for remote hiring? And they do have a website. They told me this - Dear, you never did body profile for remote hiring with any agency? For modeling, you can choose any package or can specify your limits, But for the body, profile should be nude, So analyst can see your figure angle and after review removed, It's remote hiring We do not have your physical appearance so all hiring is based on these pictures. She has to made digital review sheet, So base on that review sheet will choose which dress suit you fittings everything.

This has nothing to do with modeling, but as a BSIS certified, I saw an ad on Craigslist to work as a security at a home in Beverly Hills, and I emailed the person, and he asked me if I feel comfortable for having a companionship by hanging out, and cuddling which I ended up blocking him, and reported to spam right away. Luckily I have a separate email account for work only, so I don’t have to worry about getting hacked for my personal info, but I have seen ads to do modeling which I’ve been tempted, because I wanna get aspire since I have model features, and good thing I came here to check this video first before applying... thank you so much for this.❤️

So my friend thinks he's signed by a legitimate agency. He signed a contract and everything so he says but he's isn't actually making any money. His "agent" promotes his pictures that other photographers have taken and posts them on his and he gains exposure this way by local photographers. What is this actually being called? Nobody is getting paid. Is his agent legitimate even though no one is getting paid? I believe my friend just gains exposure because his pictures are being shared by a "agent" who has 43k followers.

A guy with an obscure email address paid my sister $1000 over a few weeks for a few nude photos of her without her face. He claims he's a middleman and sells those faceless nudes to clients. This doesn't make much sense. What was actually going on here????
