blue bettle is not good as a main character but better as a said character but thats not why the movie was bad it was bad becauce of bad writing

I treated my father to this because he introduced me to Guyver. I even wore my Guyver themed baseball jersey to the movie. We had the theater to ourselves in which had fun every time we saw a Guyver reference we were like that Leonardo DeCaprio pointing meme yelling out "That's Guyver!"

Ive never read a blue bettle comic.
However, if this movie was about a kid who got abducted by aliens and had to compete in an intergalactic ninja warrior competition mixed in with some space opera isms to earn the right to don the alien armor might have been cool. At least it would havd been something different.

Oh well.

The biggest problem is it’s a movie of contrivances.

Why would the suit stop him from killing? Its a intergalactic weapon made to be the pointman for an alien invasion, to be a hero so the reach can come in and take over when the time is right. So why would it matter if he killed or not?

If you want Latin Americans to go to a Latin American Super Hero movie, make a "Chapulín Colorado" movie

out of all those dceu films i think the second take on suicide squad is probably the one i actually liked to watch as the more goofy take on the squad was entertaining compared to the super serious crap, that and king shark is adorable, 10 out of 10 would befriend the shark

I just watched it, horrible. I just wanted to skip the forced emotional scenes, the unrealistic romance and acceptance of things that were flat out bonkers.

I know I’m severely late to this but this movie could’ve been a lot more interesting if they focused on where the Scarab came from like in the comics. It’s from an alien race known as the Reach and the Scarab was built by them along with different scarabs as weapons used to conquer different worlds. Much more interesting than Kord Industries being run by an evil person cliche.

Tried watching it on a plane, turned it off after 10 minutes.

It does seem like a CW show. Much more than a streaming movie/show. I didn’t like how simplistic it was. Very basic in terms of story and character development. Felt like something that would have done amazing…in 2004.

This should’ve been released straight to HBO Max. It would’ve made a bigger impact there, maybe LOL. I watched it myself. I liked it it was perfectly fine but it wasn’t interesting and it wasn’t exactly fresh or new and it was a little boring LOL.

This movie was another joke like a parody of the character.
