Maybe an interesting idea for guests or colonists who go against the well being of the colony (e.g. atacking a fellow member) would be to use them as hemogen farms (instead of casting them out).

I think the techs that improve your ability to interact with as many people as possible should be prioritised. So Transport Pods would fit that very nicely.

Pete have you tried switching on and checking the roofing overlay? You can sometimes find some thin roof (light green) which can be incredibly useful in cave bases.

You can open it up and use it as a vent for heat from fridges or fires; you can also use the hole for mortars or transport pod launchers.

Lastly, as most know, bugs won't spawn under thin roof so you could put important rooms under this area.

Dimitri should join the colony, if he so desires, after a year and a day of repentance.

You don’t need transport pods that much if you have caravan animals like elephants and donkeys.

recruit dimitry they've been given the chance to betray the cult with a vulnerable patient and chose peace instead. also i feel med beds would be the cults choice but maybe drop pods would be the selfish choice of a higher ranking member whos honor is corrupting their beliefs

I feel like Dmitri did a good job as a slave and should become a colonist - alternatively, there might be a mod that allows freed slaves to decide for themselves if they would rather join or leave? In the future, I feel like all slaves should have a set penance period. Maybe 15 days of slavery is the standard, with an additional quadrum added if they commit violent acts during that time? Keeping them on a whim seems counter the beliefs of Boyo.

Edit: Or maybe the original sentence should be fifteen days after being converted? That way accepting your culpability and choosing to atone for your guilt shortens your sentence.

I think Dmitriy should get to go home. He's only 17 after all, and he's served his time. He's a useful member of the colony, sure, but if he goes home he goes a changed man that can spread the belief of Boyo to his fellows. Otherwise his penitence is just thinly veiled indoctrination!

I think Dimitry has proven himself well in the eyes of Boyo. In fact I think he is one of the strongest believers and is more than willing to serve as a permanent hemogen farm. Maybe he sees this as a sort of punishment for his past sins.

I don't remember your mod policy for this run, but the spread the word mod could be interesting if you decide to release dimitri. i think its increases the chance of other colonies converting to your ideologies as you release prisoners who have been converting.

I can see Dimitri is trully sory for what he did in the past and now is ready to be fully fledged member of the cult.
I would not send him back, for it would be just sad to meet him again on the other side of a fight...

I usually go straight for multi analizer, if there is nothing I really need just now. It takes a while, but helps with everything else after.
Hospital bed probably, as the cult want to help everyone and good hospital is needed for that.

For Dimitry is it possible to made him a member of colony, but create him position in cult of blood donor. Story wise he repent his sins against colony and as he is glad take took him in he devouted him self as food donor for colony vampires.

I'd go for hospital beds, medecine production, drop pods, and I'll send drop pods full of medecine to some nearby enemy camp. And for Dmitriy, he could be both. I'd honestly just toss a coin to "make him decide" Head he stays, tails he'll be released

You can't add more than 1 deathrest building per coffin without the sanguophages using a deathrest capacity serum. So building more than one accelerator per coffin wouldn't be any good for now

The fan art has taken a definitive nosedive. I'm no artist, but the creations for the ice sheet and steakhouse were so good I've contemplated printing some for my house. But these are.... Disappointing. Sorry not sorry.

What is left on the map in steel deposits? I often go in the direction of deep mining and ground scanners if it is not abundant.
Otherwise, transport pods are always a solid choice, for trading or combined with a long-range scanner to get gold, uranium, plasteel, and components up and running.

Jump packs would be useful but it only makes sense that before anything else the group research medical & care related researches.

Thought of the day: Special ideoligion diets are a bad idea if you're intending to entertain a lot of guests.
Then again, you can make normal meals for guests and weird undergrounder meals for your ideoligeon.
