Iin my opinion the jax jag never had an ol they were all stars in their own mind. Protect TL.

That pick was a risk/reward propostion though. Chases was high risk/high reward because burrow could have been blown up and out for the season in week 2 and everyone would have said they made the wrong choice. Sewell wouldnt have got them to the SB, they probably would have been a fringe playoff team, but the chance of the season been a disaster would have been way lower too.

It paid off for them, so hats off to them.

Getting O linemen is harder than getting WR help. Plus the Jags get ETN back and a good LT will help him as well.

While the bengals drafting a receiver like chase helped the Bengals…this literally is an outside case. Most of the time….if they don’t protect their QB they never play a significant game ever. Just like you cannot pick a QB at 199 and not in the high rounds because of Tom Brady.
Quarterbacks need an offensive line…no matter their athleticism…without it your franchise QB won’t make it past his first contract

I'ma diehard eagles fan. so that means I gained a lot of love for Jax this off-season they need to take an oline, they want Lawrence to succeed get more lineman. Doug knows that, when we won the title in 2017 we had the best o line in football by a wide margin.
