CONNEX CX-4600 TURBO

I hated to miss this live ..... I could have told a hundred and more stories about those broken solder joints on many radios that crossed my work bench years ago..... The rubber washers that came with the new units got lost are were never used ...... Those rubber washers were supposed to go between the radio and mounting bracket ..... When the washer wasn't used the person would tighten up on the mounting knobs and pull the chassis of the radio away from the circuit board ... Hence the pins of the parts would break away from the pads ....The audio chips and regulators were in close proximity to the mounting holes ........
