Unfortunately, many of the conservative neo-liberals now influencing US foreign policy and Presidents of either persuasion are guided by a weird born to rule ideology, hence they are most unlikely to consider participating in let alone cooperating with Xi Jinping's idea of 'a more fair and rational implementation of global governance'. Be this as it probably is, China and Russia will not only need to continue preparing to defend their borders and people, they will probably need to do so at a pace that alarms even the weirdest of ideologies.

I want to say that I am strongly interested in Socialism and most Left-oriented issues. I have been all my life to my detriment and stigmatization in most cases if I open my mouth and talk about it.

One thing bothers me and keeps me at bay and relatively half-hearted with Socialist/Leftist organizations is that the Socialist agenda, and discussion often gets mixed in or overshadowed by other political issues that, at least in my mind, have nothing to do with Socialism or Leftist issues, like this thing about North Korea, but mostly about the Arab-Israeli issue.

I don't mean this so much as a criticism about an informative program about North Korea in this case, though I really do not care much for North Korea, either pro or con. I don't think it is an important issue to me, and the Americans and even Westerners.

I think issues like this, where Socialists are associated or made to appear to be on the side of North Korea or the Palestinians keep the Left down and stigmatize the whole movement.

Israel is one of the most advanced countries in the world. They are democratic and socialistic in many ways. Palestinians are the opposite of that. They are a militant society ruled by force and money channeled to them by Iran and midguided Westerners and they are stuck in the past, in a cycle of tyranny and violence - not just from Israel.

They refuse to move on and indeed they are still committing violence against Israel that is rarely if ever reported on. Recently for the first time I subscribed, no money involved, to an Israeli paper, and realized that every week and almost every day it seemed there was Palestinian violence directed at Israeli citizens, and yet it is only Palestinian injuried or deaths that are ever reported on.

Maybe I'm wrong, and I don't know because we never get a glance inside Palestine at its government or life day to day, or who they are, not to mention the violence rule of Lebanon by Hezbollah and their continually growing threat of weapons and violence towards Israel.

My gut says there is some irrationality here, that makes me think that many Socialist and Leftist groups are fake or misguided from the inside to associate to issues and groups that are negative to many if not most Westerners/Americans and it is yet another way the Right-wing maintains power and disempowers and badjackets the Left. I really resent Socialist and Leftist groups defocusing on the issues at home to complain about the likes of North Korea or Palestine when there are plenty of important issues to report on and discuss that might have the effect of raising support for Socialism and the Left.

I joined this channel because Brian Becker was a voice I came to respect on Socialist issues, but having been a member for a month now I am cancelling my membership because there is not very much content, virtually no interaction or discussion, and in my one month sample this video really distorts the clear issues I want to see discussed.

When I think about how much money is sucked up and goes to our "Right-wing Corporate Hierarchy" it occurs to me that they can determine what the Left says and how it is viewed, like they also seem to control the Democratic Party.

Maybe I am too much of a purist, but these basic issues need to be address locally before I care a wit about North Korea of Palestine, or some of the other issues. I would even be interested in Cuba, Venezuela, and South America as they seem to be stuggling without recognition by you guys to be more Socialist. You know I see a lot of people saying that the US should pull out of Korea and that the US is the reason why there is no reunification. I a way there are correct. In 1950 North Korea was about take control of all of Korea. The US stepped in and made sure that did not happen. Now I am seeing a lot of people mostly Americans saying that the US should pull out and that they are doing more harm then good. As a Korean I can say that the majority of South Korean's want an American military presence in South Korea. The US military presence is the only things deterring North Korea from invading. If the US pulls out or even lessens their military presence then North Korea might jump on the opportunity to invade.
