Takomo DO custom fit
ОтветитьI was way past due on new irons, I was playing Mizuno MX 200s a forged cavity back about 14 years old. I've played 5 rounds so far with the 201's, KBS Tour R shafts, 1 degree upright, mid sized grips. I'm an 8 hdc and I'm getting about one club more distance but what I really like about them is the ball flight has been very consistent and they are really easy to work the ball with. I love them
ОтветитьWhen talking different shafts you need to identify the hosel ID dimension. Please confirm the Takomo is .370 and the Srixon is .355.
ОтветитьGreat swing!
ОтветитьYep and Takomo could give you all them same chouses as Mizuno.. Then the Price would be the same it's called common sense.. The point being .. You get a great club at a great price to hit it in the water and wood.. then paying high price and still hit it in the water and the woods..
ОтветитьWith the Takamo's you can go to their site and their is fitting section that is very thorough. It asks alot of personal swing and play questions. If you don't fib then you'll end up with their best suggestion as far as what type of irons, your length and shaft type and the lie angle you need for your irons when you order. You are taking a small risk by ordering them completely online but you're cutting out the middle man which reduces the price. The have a very large range of shafts and grips as well
ОтветитьI love my 201Ts and the Takomo sky force wedges!!!!
ОтветитьGreat video! Very informative.
ОтветитьJust bought a set of Takomo 201s. Customised them with Half inch longer shaft, 1 degree upright, midsize grips but the big gamble was I went for the Obsidian s95 shafts. I’m 63 and play off 9hcp. I assume my swing will get slower over next 3 years so decided on graphite. I’ll let you know how I go.
ОтветитьNow you just need to learn how to pronounce the name of that iron. It’s NOT..TAC uh mo. It’s Tu KOE MOE. With the emphasis on KOE.
Ответитьi210?
ОтветитьGood to see Johnny Depp enjoying life after he won his case against Amber... 😉 Thanks for the review as I've been considering the Takomas when I retire my current gamers
ОтветитьA nice pairing of brands and models in this review. ZX7 is a known quantity, so if Takomo can compare well you know they are well made. But I have something else on my mind, mostly because the unusual appeals to me. Homna TW 747 Vx. They came out maybe five years ago and look a lot like these Srixon. Forged, have the tungsten toe weight, 30* 7-iron and usually come with the NS Pro Modus3 shaft. They were replaced by the 757 Vx, but I prefer the look of the 747. Have you ever hit these? Any opinion? One can purchase them from Japan - set of 6 irons for about US$350 (includes Express shipping) in almost new condition. I have bought from Japan before and have found them excellent to deal with. Only drawback for me is that I prefer Dynamic Gold, but I can also just buy the heads. There is a V model too with smaller head and more loft, but I need a little more help.
ОтветитьFreddie what irons do you play? I assume zX7?
ОтветитьTaco mo = one more taco please
ОтветитьThe strixon has an std
ОтветитьTo - co-mo
