It would be interesting for a qualified expert like we have here to compare Julius Caesar's "right-hand man" Antony with Octavian's "right-hand man" Marcus Agrippa, who ultimately spells doom for Antony by defeating him at Actium. I would submit Agrippa to be closer to the picture often painted of Antony's competence and loyalty for his patron than Antony himself.

My assessment of Antony is that he was a very good tactical commander, and a very poor strategist. Excellent in battle, terrible in war. He certainly did not understand the value of secure supply lines like his former commander, Julius Caesar(possibly the most brilliant strategist of all time).

This was interesting but would have been far more interesting if he had added what Caesar thought of Antony, or what we can infer Caesar thought of Antony.

Could never square his depiction on film and tv with what I know about his historical record especially his military prowess.

"Historian demolishes Mark Antony." Tells us Antony was exactly the guy we all thought he was, and the reason why J. Ceasar picked him in the first place. Antony wasn't a military genius he was Ceasar's lackey that found himself in a good position when Ceasar died.

I wonder how Antony would have reacted, being told that people would still be talking about him over 2000 years after his death, but that the general consensus from the non-plebs was that he was charming but utterly mediocre?
