The Walkman was actually simpler and easier. All you had to do was plug headphones in and put the tape in and press Play. Back in those days, you can visually see that your headphones are connected instead of assuming they’re connected wirelessly and have your music awkwardly play on full blast for everyone to hear

Saturday morning cartoons, velcro shoes, parachute pants, the ten speed bike, jean jackets, government cheese and so many people that are no longer with us would all be alive again if I could just find a time machine.

I loved my walkman and took it everywhere, i remember having two sets of rechargeable batteries for it, so when one run out i'd have a back up and not spending a fortune on batteries to keep it running.
