“Cass-it tapes?”
Most people did not have a duel tape boom box until the late 80s or early 90s. So, mix tapes were more common in the 90s. We did, however, record radio songs to tapes.
I don't remember Logan's Run being released in the 80's.
ОтветитьI work in the World Trade Center on the 97th floor was amazing over looking the city in the 80s. I miss them day. 🥲🥲🥲
ОтветитьTake me back !
ОтветитьMOLLY RINGWOALD WAS A BABE!😍😍
ОтветитьI was born in 1980 and just say no absolutely worked for me. But I never really had anyone try to use peer pressure to get me to use drugs lol my friends would ask id say no thanks and that was that.
ОтветитьThe greatest decade of all time the 1980's. ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe 1980s and 1990s were the most common in the United States.
ОтветитьI favored the walkman for a while because it could actually fit in your pocket.
ОтветитьThe narrator’s mispronunciation of basic words like cassette is grating on my ears.
ОтветитьI would give ANYTHING to go back!!!! I knew how great it was when I was growing up in it! I would totally give up cell phones and the internet to go back 🥺
ОтветитьCould not imagine the nostalgia in the 80’s
ОтветитьStar Wars was released in 1977 not in the 80’s
ОтветитьMaga = 1980’s
ОтветитьLife was so good before mobiles and internet👍
Ответитьwiow
ОтветитьThe Walkman created the "mixed tapes".
ОтветитьThe 80's were more than "fun" times, they were freaking AWESOME!!! 😂
ОтветитьStar wars?
ОтветитьIt couldn’t have started off any better “do you believe in miracles”…..
Ответить"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "War Games" Matthew Broderick!
ОтветитьPhysical card catalogs in libraries, index cards ruled! MTV!!
ОтветитьTrapper keepers are still being sold they're making a comeback.
ОтветитьWhen I think of 80's movies all I think of is courtroom dramas especially Kramer V's Kramer.
ОтветитьGenX kid here. I'll keep it short. Y'all wouldn't have made it in our day. GenX, raised on hose water and neglect!
ОтветитьI'm sorry, "Kaset" tapes?
ОтветитьIm not american and i feel nostalgic about the 80's 😅
ОтветитьLots of batteries for auto reverse cassette walkman
ОтветитьWish I born then , Definitely born in the wrong generation something about the society code back then made it special were everyone had each others back in acceptable times , Now everyone’s stuck up and only cares about themselves and are soft
Ответить🙏👍
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention about Trapper Keepers is the themes of who had the coolest Keeper from being a latest Voltron theme to transformers.
ОтветитьYeah I'd like to go back to the 80's. I'm only 26 but the 20's suck so bad.
ОтветитьThe 80's were more intolerant than now. Being gay and in high school wasn't fun.
A gay dude in the 80's was a nightmare. I wish I could be born now. It wouldn't be so difficult.
Just Say No!
I'd like to zap into a future in which donald trump doesn't exist and people treat each other with compassion & decency.
A dream world until trump is gone.
The Walkman was actually simpler and easier. All you had to do was plug headphones in and put the tape in and press Play. Back in those days, you can visually see that your headphones are connected instead of assuming they’re connected wirelessly and have your music awkwardly play on full blast for everyone to hear
ОтветитьI graduated high school in 1786, the 80's were the BEST!
ОтветитьTrapper Keeper? NEEEEERD
Ответить80's best, we know everyone's phone number and visit relatives often. Movies were the best ever produced. VH1 and MTV plays nothing but music.
Ответить1981 was the best year , IMO, for hard rock music!
ОтветитьThe cube was boring
ОтветитьGee do an Australian version
ОтветитьWhat the hell was a trapper keeper
ОтветитьMolly Ringwald!
ОтветитьSaturday morning cartoons, velcro shoes, parachute pants, the ten speed bike, jean jackets, government cheese and so many people that are no longer with us would all be alive again if I could just find a time machine.
ОтветитьI loved my walkman and took it everywhere, i remember having two sets of rechargeable batteries for it, so when one run out i'd have a back up and not spending a fortune on batteries to keep it running.
ОтветитьFlash dance
I was a farmer student, and dance in weekend's, dreamy about new city ballet, ❤ so I connectedness
Or - Subway, with its 80 no future
Creativity
I was a DARE kid growing up, I’ve now got 5 years sobriety from heroin and meth.
ОтветитьThe moment I would love to re-live would be all the years between 1980 to 1990
ОтветитьWorst conceivable decade to be alive.
Ответить80's kid here, bring me back to the 80's anytime, where's that damn time machine when we need one !!!
ОтветитьThe 70 s and 80 s were the best
Ответить
