I think my favorite thing about you is that you say, don't listen to me, do what you want but here are some ideas. My main play thru is a empty hand tavern brawler monk (with potion) with 3 levels of thief for that bonus action. having a good time. I like monk so started a elemental one to see what I can mix it with, no plan ahead but might look into it now maybe...
Or I can do as you suggest, just enjoy it :)
Thanks! The wiki tip is a huge help, way better than trying to plan builds in game 😅 been binge watching your builds - awesome stuff!! 🎲🐉
ОтветитьThe OF joke had me crying lol
ОтветитьThis was the best explanation of these builds I've seen thx
Ответитьthanks for another great video! I'm looking at build videos to get ideas but I also want to do my own thing so this is great 😊
ОтветитьI've realized that Fighter is probably the best class to start with when playing Baldur's Gate 3. Bard is the second best starting class by pure skill and magic power. However, Bard is also an Action Economy nightmare. For the Fighter BattleMaster, it is simply attack your enemy and use maneuvers to dictate the intensity of the attack. For Bards, Lore has spell power and skill expertise, Valor has melee and spell power plus Inspiration for its party, and finally Sword bards have six options to choose from for melee combat. Add to this the dialog options, and you have a lot going on. I made it to Rosymorn Monastery and it was quick, fast, and unsatisfying. Now I'm a Zariel Tiefling Fighter for this nth playthrough. I'm solid with this choice. Like Spartacus said, do what you want to do, but note that not all classes are solid on their own merit...they need help from other class. First playthrough? Fighter or Lore Bard..Valor a close 2nd.
ОтветитьThe order is important. If you are playing a Paladin, starting at level 1 will set the tenets and provide dialog options. Creating or respect a character in Fighter 1 allows fighting style and a healing bonus. It's about understanding role playing. I started as a Ranger because I love range fighting, so Ranger and Thief give me more options. Add in one level of Fighter, and now I've become a solid range fighter. I would prefer my main class choice to be first unless I'm getting proficiencies from the secondary class such as Fighter. You could take one level of Fighter just to give a non-melee character some protection and weapon options. It's not a difficult process, you just have to go through the question: What character do I see myself playing? Start with a single class and work through it.
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьWarlock with devil sight, darkness, and undermountain short sword is monstrous
ОтветитьMy first playthrough. What should I play? Coming hot off elden ring and loving sorceries. Hmm. I like big badass weapons too and looking badass
Also, there's still a lot of us intimidated by bg3 like myself. I started a new job and 4 ppl there on the game and is just too intimidated to play basically. Wish it weren't that way. These videos definitely help though
STR is a stat you can dump - Hill Giant and Cloud Giant potions will fill in the gap Long Rest. I appreciate the The Best Build and how to avoid analysis paralysis
ОтветитьBeen looking for multiclass build videos and this channel keeps coming up. I LOVE the TLDW aspect of your videos. It's SO freakin risky due to YT's algorithm. But damn, do I appreciate the dedication to making amazing content that you potentially allow people to NEVER fully tune in for..
Now, time to make this what YT Algorithm wants me to sleepwatch 😂
Just want to give a shout out to Italian Spartacus. You really are the goat when it comes to Bg3 content. 👍 appreciate your hard work dude.
ОтветитьSuper useful guide, thanks!!!
ОтветитьYou mentioned a list you had of item locations that was supposed to be appended to one of your videos... trouble is I watched more than one video, so this might not be the right one. Please, where is this wonderful list?
Ответить2x speed ftw 😅Thx for the build inspiration
ОтветитьGreat content. You are the only BG3 creator whose videos are consistently interesting.
ОтветитьGreat video but could have been much better if you wrote and followed a script for yourself
ОтветитьIm glad you're still putting out bg3 content i like seeing what you do for inspiration when i build my charters and use your channel to help my friends when we play a new campaign in bg3
ОтветитьDwarves should have a beard superrority stat.
ОтветитьOh man, that Item Checklist is awesome! Thank you
ОтветитьRecently made a rogue barbarian multiclass that I roleplayed as a sneak thief who can only melee attack while in rage build ended up being very fun
ОтветитьI don't even play this game but I watch all of these videos 😂
Ответитьbeen here since CK3
ОтветитьThanks for the info!
ОтветитьLove the content. I’ve been playing through the game on a little build I cooked up last night. 5 Pact of the blade (for extra attack)/ 5 Assassin(for another feat and more damage on sneak attack)/ 2 Paladin (for access to smites). Sounded fun so I’m giving it a shot
Ответитьengagement coz thy not
ОтветитьThanks for more BG3 content! This is why i subbed so always keen to see some more ideas. I don't play many games so most other content passes me by, but i love your style and up front approach. ❤
If ppl want some other crazy optimised builds check out the BG3 builds on d4 Deep Dive; Colby makes some nuts stuff.
Do a Dune Fremen! 5 GloomRanger 4 OpenMonk 3 AssassinRogue
ОтветитьIt makes me sad that all the videos you make about anything OTHER than BG3 gets views
I personally get notified no matter what you post but it upsets me that your content doesn’t get to shine if you’re doing something different even if it’s in demand
Thanks for the new BG 3 content, love the approach as well!
ОтветитьThe fact that this video has 10k views and less than 500 likes IS A CRIME.
ОтветитьCan you do an updated Death Knight?
ОтветитьHey Nicole it's Dexter sorry I got cut off
Ответитьi wish more content creators for video games were this consistently upfront and wholesomely supportive lol. the main wiki is better than fextralife's though? i always end up on his! 🤔 i believe you though, i go down weird rabbit holes lol. thanks for keeping the bg3 train a-goin' for those of us who have no interest in elden ring 🤣
ОтветитьGreat Video keep up the work!
ОтветитьI do one rogue, 5 ranger, 3 rogue then 3 fighter for my gloomstalker assassin build.
ОтветитьGoogle doc?
ОтветитьNow do builds for Pathfinder....pretty please lol
ОтветитьNo tips to provide just wanted to say thanks for all the thought you put into these videos— lots of help and I appreciate you!
Ответить"it's kinda the same thing"... As a Goblin, that's incredibly offensive
ОтветитьThe mathemagicians at r/bg3builds have been debating this for eons
ОтветитьSuper helpful guide. I'm new to these types of complex RPGs and in my first playthrough i was so overwhelmed that i thought if i multiclass i'm going to be weak in 2 class instead of be good in one class. Hope algoritem bless your content. 👍
ОтветитьI think a lot of BG3 build optimization centers around a few broken mechanics including rad orb / reverb stacking, tavern brawler, stealth combat, arcane acuity, arrow of many targets, wet condition, etc. It’s not really as much the classes themselves that break the game but rather finding combinations of classes that best take advantage of these broken/overtuned elements of the game.
ОтветитьI personally start with an theme or an item for my builds. Then I try to find out, what classes would compliment that theme/item and go from there
ОтветитьI did Asterion 3 thief and 9 Battlemaster Hand Xbow build. it crushes enemies! I also have a Tav build of 5 Hexblade warlock/ 7 Battlemaster Build who crushes it as well. Gale is a Magic Missile Build and can do massive amounts of damage with the necklace and spell sparkler staff. Made Shadowheart a life cleric to heal us all, but her hidden talent is
the Gnome boots of speed and her spirit Guardians spell gets her 60' of movement with disadvantage for attacks of opportunity. This group is amazing!
My first playthrough had the cutest gnome druid (god knows how I got through that run with how badly I built that first party) called Blessed Briar. And you called him a goblin. I am outraged on his behalf. He was far too gentle to be outraged.
ОтветитьWatching the opening scene at the beginning of the video got me thinking. So the Gith on their dragons could just portal between realms at a whim? We see the nautiloid jumping from Baldur's Gate to Avernus and other realms. The Gith dragon riders just jump around right behind them. How? How did they even know where the ship jumped to? Im not versed in mich d&d stuff at all, unfortunately.
ОтветитьUnfortunely the story is pretty linear with no post game, doesn't help that community can be finicky if you show off your character, such as my fire warlock without Eldritch blast!
