Make This Easy Spray-On Body Lotion For an Instant Glow! Today I'm showing you how to make lotion spray, or spray-on lotion, which makes moisturizing really easy, quick, & convenient! It's extremely moisturizing and a little bit goes a long way. Plus, it's super simple to make.
INGREDIENTS
You'll need distilled water and carrier oil. I recommend a low viscosity carrier oil as the final lotion needs to be really thin in order to spray. You'll need emulsifying wax to bind the oil and water together; use one that doesn’t thicken the emulsion, like Glyceryl Stearate & Peg-100 (linked below). You'll also need a preservative since this recipe contains water. And I'll be adding fragrance but this is optional.
100 milliliters Distilled Water, 10 grams Glyceryl Stearate peg 100, 100 milliliters Jojoba oil, 10 milliliters Fragrance, 1 milliliter Germall plus
Heat the emulsifying wax & oil until the wax is melted. Heat the water separately to roughly the same temperature. Combine the 2 heated phases with a stick blender. Now that it's cooled a bit, add the fragrance oil. Cool the temperature to around 100 degrees Fahrenheit to add the preservative. Once everything is mixed, package the liquid in any regular spray bottle (you don’t need anything fancy).
