The orophecy had to be fulfilled and Christ reveals prophecy. But as a man he was abandoned as were we when sin entered our world. God removed us from the garden because of sin, he abandoned the Man Christ, because of our sin. He had no sin, but he took on our sin to carry on the cross. Christ had to experience abandonement too, to fulfill the prophecy and in faith show that the fathers plan is the only plan, even when we feel abandoned. I know why and here comes discernment. He was refencing scripture in his death, he was not asking why he was forsaken. He was making prophesy complete. At that time most people knew scripture and even memorized it and even they knew he was just quoting scripture. Why make this into a silly debate? Does it not make sense to them? 1. Give reference why Gospels were necessary when God given Torah and Zabor were already there. What guidance was missing in those books which Gospels completed.
2. Give reference where Jesus himself said that his followers should be called as Christians.
3. Give reference where Jesus himself directed his disciples to write Bible/Gospels.
4. Give reference that Jesus himself said to make his statues and paintings for worship in churches.
5. Jesus spoke Aramaic, then why original Gospels exist in Greek instead of Aramaic.
6. Give reference that the present worship procedure in practice in churches was prescribed by Jesus himself.
