Your work is always so amazing, love all the colors!!
ОтветитьIt doesnt matter which app to use, when the artist himself is awesome. When artist make awesome drawing just with just 2 colors is awesome. u r right. And blown away with this pixel drawing..wow. why you didnt on the YT Ads in ur video?
ОтветитьMikko, I don’t want to sound like a broken record but this pixel art looks amazing. I love seeing your art. Also have a great day (or night) .
ОтветитьLove your videos and artwork, mikko 😄 Watching your videos always gives me a big boost of motivation and inspiration when I’m working on my paintings
ОтветитьTotally agree
Ответитьwoah, looking at this artwork just makes me super happy.
ОтветитьNice video ... but i always using infinite painter app 😍
ОтветитьIt's always a good morning when I wake up and find Mikko uploaded another video!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your art process with us, Mikko💗💗💗
ОтветитьI used to love joining your streams and drawing along or chatting nonsense, but honestly, after a while I was tired of hearing the same questions over and over: what app do you use, what brushes, do you use a screen protector, etc etc. All these questions the answer to which don't automagically make you a better artist. I hope people see this video and receive the message.
ОтветитьHello friend! Any chance there will be a release date for the coffee shop print please?
ОтветитьThis was the most inspiring video I’ve seen all week. Thank you. Now I’m off to create art.
Ответитьyour discussions in videos are always thoughtful, nuanced and realistic. I really appreciate that 😊
ОтветитьIn the matter of apps, I know that they can be expensive. And it's not something a lot of people can buy just 'to try it out'. Especially if it's something they don't know they'll be doing a lot of. So what gets to me is when you search for reviews, to decide whether or not they are worth your money, and nothing goes beyond 'hey I went through it for five minutes it's great!'. I want the good, the bad, the 'all of them are like this' and the 'sorry but if your phone is bad you're not going to get a good app, blunt truth'.
ОтветитьI find it almost a bit philosophical. It's said often in the community that art is problem-solving and that by having limitations you have more problems that need more creative solutions. That same line of logic is why "digital art" can sometimes be demonized as not being art. You have access to ALL colors! You have access to unlimited layers, erasing, and undoing. You only have to make it once and can sell a million copies! Yet, I believe that Digital art is undeniably art. And I think it's because when some creative barriers or problems are broken down, they are replaced by others. Such as your search for the program that has it all mentioned in this video. You have a vision in mind, you see the barrier that is your programs, and you choose to utilize both in order to overcome it. I think the artists of today struggle not with not having enough problems to encounter while creating, and now must personally creating problems they must overcome in order to make their art more creative. People set limitations on themselves, do challenges like one layer or monochrome, etc in order to artificially create these. Doing a specific style of art, such as Pixel art, has so many restrictions and barriers to overcome that make it necessary to be so creative to make something as beautiful as this piece you have made! Maybe the perfect art platform will never exist, and that is okay.
ОтветитьI love ur art dude! always killing it :D
ОтветитьI can't stand pixel art but pixel art work great
ОтветитьAlways inspired by ur art work..... I always wanted to draw like that, but I know nth Abt drawing and coloring .... Hopefully I could draw sth like that in the future.
Ответитьhello, what are your canvas settings? answer please
ОтветитьMikko being a professional artist and being able to talk about specific topics for so long is such a big flex. The pixel art community deserves so much more love to be honest.
Ответитьyour videos are my favorite to watch. i hope u have a great day today~
ОтветитьBro cuidate, me encanto
ОтветитьWhat pixel brush did you use?
ОтветитьThis is amazing! It reminds me of the amazing world of gumball for some reason. Great artwork! Witch brush did you use?
ОтветитьMe on the other hand, I have Adobe CC subscription for design stuff. I've been considering to buy Procreate for so long. It feels redundant but at the same time I feel it might improve my exp. So I keep using what I have but looking at artists enjoying Procreate, I feel like to jump in the ship.
ОтветитьPainting and Animaiting Pixel Art in Procreate isnt That Bad… especially the painting Part is awesome
Ответитьi tried doing pixel art with 100x100 pixel canvas, but when i export.. well... i could barely see the drawing since it’s low resolution. anyone know how to export your pixel art in high res? please help, thank you!
Ответить很喜歡!
ОтветитьMay i have the colour pallete☺️
ОтветитьWow, I loved this video! So much great insight, thank you for sharing it. I’ve started work on blend modes in Pixaki, so hopefully it will appear in the app in the next few months. 🤞

i bought pixelart brush from ittaimanero and its easier for me in procreate rather than pixaki
pixaki lack of feature (because maybe im used to use procreate) and only develop by 1 men imo
I love this piece. It puts a smile on my face and reminds me of the Carebear cartoon from the 90s.
ОтветитьYou are a great person keep it up, all love from Baghdad
Ответитьi enjoy every video you make. really entertaining and informative thanks!
ОтветитьWhat dimensions should a canvas have if I want to make a pixel art and put it as my pc wallpaper?
ОтветитьHey! How do you export your pixel art from procreate without having the issue that the picture is blurried?
ОтветитьI did not expect you to be Finnish wtf
The first 5 seconds really surprised me
That color palette tho, this piece is fucking gorgeous! I totally agree with your app price point of view, when I bought my iPad Pro 12.9 I just factored the price of procreate into the price of buying the iPad and saved up. Then when wanting to get into pixel art I looked here for which apps purely for just names of apps to try, I think I may have spent a single evening watching reviews and such then said hell with it and bought pixaki. I ended up eating ramen and lettuce for a week but was fine and having a blast while my initial excitement lasted.
Art is so therapeutic and calming to me and I am so grateful to be able to snuggle up on the couch in soft blankets and create art.
hello mikko, how can you sketch with normal brush in pixel canvas like you did in your video ?
ОтветитьThat is the most beautiful pixel art I've ever seen WOW!!
ОтветитьI like your pixel drawing style.
Last month I started drawing a pixel art after watched your videos. But, i still struggling to choose a canvas size. Can you tell me what canvas size did you use in this drawing? Thnaks
Just as you think pixel art may not make money nfts decide to come along 😂😂
ОтветитьWhat brush do you use for pixel art??
Ответитьwow ironically you made an awesome pixel art on same app you are bitching about
ОтветитьPersonally, I have Aseprite installed on my Mac Book Pro and I screen mirror that to my iPad Pro. It’s a wonderful software for animation, pixel art, etc, and it works perfectly with my iPad.
ОтветитьThanks for art Mikko 😊! Totally agree that the tool is not the most important part of the process. You does not need it at all, because as you always say, having fun in the process is important and it's obvious that you have a lot of fun with procreate. But , just in case it didn't cross your mind, Affinity Designer for iPad, using the pixel persona of the app, may be close to Photoshop for pixel art. You also have Affinity Photo, but I tend to like more Designer, even if you do not consider using the vector side of the app, which can be useful anyway. Hope is useful🙂
ОтветитьPixaki added blend modes!
ОтветитьWhich brush did you use in making this amazing pixel art?
ОтветитьOh my god you’re so right!!
I’m going to just start my first pixel artwork and who cares what app I’m using, it’s a really inspiring series of video Mikko, thanks a lot !!!!
