This is the second time I have made this recipe. It is awesome. I know Lebanese Baklava because I went to boarding school in Beirut in my younger days. One question for the chef. The bottom sticks to the pan so it is difficult to cut neat pieces for serving to guests. Would using no stick spray rather than Ghee on the bottom of the pan help?
ОтветитьNice❤❤❤
ОтветитьYou should of put the butter so you can cut baklava easier
ОтветитьLove this recipe and now always make this way u make it easy ❤
ОтветитьYou said it was "almost" as good as the store bought ones. Then why make it yourself.
Ответитьdone it twice...never byuing again store ones.
ОтветитьLooks so delicious. Haven't ate baklava in years
ОтветитьAbsolutely awesome recipe for anyone
ОтветитьI need to make this asap. My love is Muslim. I will surprise him with a great dessert 😅 for the holidays
ОтветитьThank you 🌷🌼🌻🍨🍮🧁
ОтветитьAdd 2 drops of rose essence and orange zest in sugar syrup
ОтветитьMade your recipe and my family and friends loved it. One question, I noticed the top layer doesn't come loose from the brown sugar layer. Am I doing something wrong?
ОтветитьCouldn't find Baklava when I needed it last minute so I clutched up and decided to make it. Followed your recipe to the T and it turned out brilliant!!! I got so many compliments. Thank you!!
ОтветитьI tried Baklava yesterday for the first time and WOW absolutely delicious ❤❤❤❤ can't wait to attempt to make some baklava
ОтветитьYou look just like her!
ОтветитьAre you related to Kathy Najimy?
ОтветитьHello!
Thank you for the receipe for Baklava or like it is called in Lebanon Bakleva.
I have a question about the colour of the Baklava. There are some sorts of Baklava that have a green colour (with pistachio). How do the oriental bakeries make the puff pastry greenish?
I want to make some as well in green but I could not find any hints in the internet how they make it.
Thank you in advance!
Does baklava really need the simple syrup? It seems like it is too much sugar to me, but I don’t know if leaving it out completely would make the baklava just fall apart.
Same with these crinkle cakes I’m seeing that have gotten super popular. I made one recently and it was very heavy and rubbery , but that might have been an error on my part or a bad recipe.
Naw... Your's looks dry af
ОтветитьSo i guess its not only the greeks anymore but also arabs who just can not say that baklava is Turkish😂
ОтветитьHomeschool family here and we are studying countries around the world. At the end of each unit, we have dinner and a movie based on the unit studied. Having learnt about Morocco, we’ll be adding this for dessert, beef gyros for dinner and watching Casablanca for our movie. Thanks for the quick recipe!
ОтветитьI don't know how mNy times I have seen this video,
But
I have made 2 times baklava already
And
IT'S GO GOOD ‼️✨
this is not baklava
Ответитьso you basicall ybought ready stuff for next show might i suggest show how to boil frozen hot dog
ОтветитьEvery Turkish bakeries, they will remove the baklava from the oven and they will pour not COLD syrup but HOT syrup over the baklava. Why?
ОтветитьSorry, I don’t believe this! LOL I make spanakopita (spinach pie) all the time, and I feel guilty when I lay down 2 sheets at a time and butter them! This is shocking to me - but, I must admit, it looked delicious! You don’t strike me as a person who would want us to waste a lot of money on nuts - only to end up with a mess! I remember authentic baklava having rose water, and no honey! Can’t wait to try this - do you think this method of not buttering each sheet would work for spanakopita, too? I’ve wasted hours of my life!
ОтветитьMade this Baklava, it turned out soooo good!!! I can't believe the shortcut version is so fantastic ❤
ОтветитьI have tried this ans it tasted sooo good.. I'd say 100% better than store bought.❤
ОтветитьI come from a pure Arabic family, so we are very familiar with Baklava. I made this yesterday with a few modification, I added cinnamon and nutmeg to the walnut mix. I don't like rose or orange blossom so I omitted them. I made a small tray and my family devoured it they could not believe this method works. Try it you will save yourself so much time. Thank you so much for this recipe.
ОтветитьDo you know that I would like to give you more then just One like and I just can't
ОтветитьI tried this recipe and the baklava turned out to be amazing. I took a bit of my take and added some tempered chocolate on the top. Yum!!
ОтветитьHow much ml is a cup?
ОтветитьHow do you fix bitter walnuts?
Ответитьتسلم ايدك طريقة سهلة ممتازة تحياتي وشكري لك
ОтветитьAmazing recipe. Thanks again for sharing your recipe. Will be making it often as it's as good as it looks 👌
ОтветитьThat looks like a lot of butter, I rather spend extra 15 minutes to brush each layer for crispier results.
ОтветитьThank you so much!! It was amazing!!!!❤❤
ОтветитьHow much melted ghee do we put on top before going into the oven?
ОтветитьMaking this regularly. It’s a favorite in the house now.
ОтветитьI made it today and my family loved it. It’s all gone. Since I made it for the first time, I couldn’t decide on the spices, so used cardamom, cinnamon. Cloves, and rose water. It was delicious
ОтветитьBest ever with great simple flavors and no spicing! My husband's comment was that I hit it out of the ball park with this one. Big compliment from a nonsports guy.
Only difference was I added a bit of lemon peel to the syrup.
Made 1/2 recipe in an 8 x 8 pan with 6 sheets of leftover phylo from the freezer. I ended up with 24 layers and it looks beautiful!
seems pretty straight forward.will try.thanks for sharing
ОтветитьCan we assemble & freeze it ahead of time? If so, will it need to be thawed before baking or will it go in the oven straight from the freezer?
ОтветитьIt’s so good!! Thank you for the recipe and hack!!!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your recipe
ОтветитьI don't bake very often because of the work and mess. This was so easy and turned out so good. I recommend it to anyone, even a new baker. Thanks for sharing from your family heritage. I love to learn about all kinds of people and how their culture has influenced the world. Keep up the sharing 😊
ОтветитьMy advice to all, don’t do it this way, stick to brushing if you want proper Baklawa. What a headache she is?
ОтветитьHas anyone used honey with this recipe?
ОтветитьSo good !❤
ОтветитьMy granddaughter is coming over tomorrow and we are going to make Baklava. So glad I came upon this recipe it looks so much easier. Thank you. 😋 ❤
