You should test with the mous case. All their cases are magnified

I'm excited for mag case. I can use the charger puck to lasso my phone from across the room. (Sarcasm)
This review has exposed the magsafe feature as a misnamed, poorly executed gimmick.
I hope the new iphone 12 modems are not a disappointment.

I don’t think the magnet is meant to be strong, it’s just used for alignment on the iPhone unlike how it was on the old MacBooks lol, just easy to put on and charge and to remove 😄

I sincerely don’t understand why everyone is testing the MagSafe as an accessory made to stay attached to the phone even if you were to use it as slingshot. It is meant to avoid stop charging your phone using the induction system when you pull it up from the Qi charger as it is happening with the majority of such chargers.

If Apple or 3rd party manufacturers make a case with a magnet inside of the case, then won’t older iphones supporting wireless charging become magsafe compatible similar to the way it works for the iphone 12?

Quoting MKBHD’s video? I feel like it’s probably a better idea to test it for yourself if you’re going to make a video about it.

Magsafe is a very good product but the r the wallet attachment. Magsafe will sell a lot for Apple but if third party do better and cheaper I will go for it. I'm definitely upgrading my iPhone 8 plus, 12 or 12 pro will be the best phone in the months to come.👌

I could care less about a MagSafe charger. I have a 3rd party one for ~$15 that's on my nightstand for my 11 Pro. If I need to charge my phone when not at home, I would not carry that MagSafe or any other wireless charger. I would use the Lightning port. I also will probably disable the 5G to get more battery usage. When I'm not on a Wifi, I generally have been pretty happy with 4G LTE. I premise this judgement, that I do not use my phone for gaming, streaming, or data hungry apps. Mostly email, text, other non-streaming Apps, and the occasional video when I'm not on Wifi.

Whether a stronger magnet is good or bad depends on what accessory and how you want to use. The wallet is an example of where you would want a strong magnet, I wouldn't want to use the wallet for reason you pointed out. On the flip side, the magnet might be actually too strong for the charger because ideally you just want the magnet to guide the phone to the correct position and maintain it. Since the magnets are "too" strong you need to use two hands to remove the phone from the charger. However if you want to use the phone while connected to Magsafe while in bed then the fact it doesn't easily come off is a benefit.

This case kinda sucks if you have pets, work as a groomers hair stylist, etc. I’m constantly removing pet hair from the case, as well as strands of my own hair. It just feels gross.

I stumbled across this video thinking: "What's the point of having a really strong MagSafe magnet, when the original purpose of MagSafe on the MacBook was for it to detatch if accidentally tripped on?" Shouldn't MagSage on iPhone also have the same characteristics?
