When its suppose to be a Russet for the starch content and you use a red one, I legit want to chew on tin foil while I scrape my nails on a chalk board.

I just buy the frozen pierogies. Taste better than anything I could make, and takes way less time.

it's not a pierogi. it's a veraniki with potato. also pierogi should have ephasis on last vowel.

You don't fry them after boiling, but great job anyway.

Hi @FutureCanoe. I have discovered you recently and love your style, but…. What you did with pierogi is unforgivable 😉. I am from Poland and it my heritage 😉. Just kidding, your pierogi are just of mamy different varieties you can make. You can put inside whatever you like. The ones from the video are called “ruskie pierogi”. The most popular in Poland. The cottage cheese and fried onions are doing all the work on those. You should try those too someday. We’re also eat pierogi with fruits like strawberries but that we eat them fresh out of the water, without frying (you also top them with sour cream with the addition of sugar).

Really enjoy your videos and waiting for more ❤.

Always use twarog for pierogi ruskie, it's the best.

Also, I use hot water to make the dough. Helps it stick and be coherent together.

Ah yes, when you use grated yellow cheese for pierogi instead of cottage cheese - that's why you got more of potato purée ,XD
