Thanks for the info. Seems like cluster jewels are meant to be used only when you have already exhausted all the nodes on the skill tree.

I'm a fairly casual player and it's pretty overwhelming for me that every single build now uses clusters. I can't even trade very well on console so it just sucks.

Technically, I was able to find the information I came here for, but it was poorly organized. Perhaps do an outline of your video. Otherwise, this isn't a guide for dummies. It's a guide for folks somewhat familiar with this game.

Its not that we're dummies its just that the people who made this game are insane

2-3 Exalts? No there are some far more expensive than that. If you can roll +10HP +35% effectiveness of small passives +3%extra damage and either a good notable or another stat someone needs on on a popular jewel base it's going to go for more than 2 ex I guarantee it. Another thing to consider is people need 2x the amount of medium cluster jewels compared to large ones so a well rolled medium cluster jewel can be as pricy or worse than a large one despite it having less talent points. Another thing to consider when picking a large cluster jewel you should specifically go for one with an increased effectiveness of small passives because it'll have a lot of them, (it can roll as +25% or +35%) and you don't want any notables in most cases because a notable takes up one of your prefix/suffix slots that you could have rolled a bonus to all of your small passives. Take for example a common 2% damage roll. Over 8 talent points that's 16% increased damage which is better than half as good as a notable by itself, not to mention that a notable would take space where you would have had a small passive so you could be sacrificing all total something like 12% cold damage+16% damage+ 2-3% damage + 4% chaos resist + another 2 stats you want maybe 2 to all stats 10 to hp or ES Some dex or INT for your build or 1 stat and having your small passives on the cluster multipied buy 1.25-1.35x. Notable passives suck on large cluster jewels, don't do it, you are gimping yourself.

thats not for dummies at all. You havent explained where you get those from, what they exactly does (does they unlock just some position in skilltree, or they give you some skills? Does applying them to tree cost passive skillpoint? How many of them can you have etc... Im new to poe and after watching your video I still got no clue how to use them. just saying :-)

I'm new to Path Of Exile, and my first character is a Marauder. I just recently got a Large Cluster Jewel but when i finally levelled up enough to reach the jewel slot type it describes in its info, i couldn't socket it. Have i done something wrong or is it bugged?
Why can't i socket the gem in the slot-type it wants to be socketed to?

My BIG problem with POE is I always hit a wall after finishing the main game with my character dying to quick. I know it shouldn't be complicated and I get that I need to build my health pool around my gear but damn. I haven't used trade market yet though, on PC, but I think I'm going to have too. My health is currently at 3k on a lightning elemental mage with base damage at 2400. I know that's not even close to good enough. Sigh..

Can you search on trade for the notables to be in specific positions?
Like a large cluster jewel with 3 notables, but i want a specific notable in the back, so I don´t have to skill it.

minions has a strategi where you use 12 passive ilvl 84 to get 35% effect and 3% attack speed and life / es, makes for very strong small passive points.

OK this game is waaaay too nerdy. I just wanted to play a game that reminds me of Diablo, now I have to learn so much stuff like I am studying for my master's degree.

This is super helpful but far far more complex then i was hoping, i think it'll still be a while yet before i can switch my SRS to the cluster tree at this rate. But something to start working on. I guess i need to get the clusters i need before swapping my tree over or else there isn't much point yet.

What about position on the Skills inside a Cluster Jewel?
For example I want Blanketed Snow and Vengeful commander + a random Skill, with a 8 passive cluster Large Jewel
That will make me only need to use 5 points to reach Blanketed Snow, Vengeful commander and both Jewel slots.
I know about this specific Jewel only. but is there like a rule how that works?

Is this the most complicated game ever? Holy moly so many systems to learn as a new player. Even searching for items to trade on the website is difficult. My searches often yield no results, and I'm guessing it's because the item is not able to roll the affixes I'm looking for, which leads me to question why can I even search for such an item in the first place?!
