Great review. My wife has the 30lb longbow, and I have the 40lb long bow, and 50 lb limbs in both the longbow and recurve and I’m amazed at how consistently all of these bows shoot in all of their configurations as long as you tune your arrows. Overall, a very forgiving and enjoyable bow to shoot. If I was to pick one, the 40lb longbow seems to be the best overall for me right now on my learning curve, but I’m getting better with the 50 so who knows...

i shoot the 60lb recurve.
i often get a confused look from the compound guys. like "jesus that looks just as fast as my compound bow"

Thanks for that comparison, very interesting. Would the long bow been faster because of the string?! It seems the recurve has the original one, and the long bow a nice flemish twist.
