Positive for kirana stores, ideally middlemen elimination = higher profits
Negative for Jio Mart, there are thousands of international and premium products that local kirana stores will not be able to stock or Jio will not be able to supply like supplying 1 pack of a London dairy ice cream to each store. makes no sense when there are several flavours and sizes. And this is true for thousand such products. The metro consumers would still prefer BB for such brands and non metro people may be not always, but often trust local shops already

Not only DMart, Reliance SMART is also similarly affecting the local or small kirana stores.

But the main question is Reliance SMART (supermarket just like dmart) is already present in the market which is directly having competition or affecting sales of small/medium/local Kirana stores.

And if these kirana stores become the part of Jiomart Partner Exclusive then still they have to face Reliance SMART competition?

So at one point, Reliance SMART is decreasing the sales of local kirana stores.
But at another point, Reliance's JioMart wants to help kirana store to face competition with DMart.

So firstly this core point problem must be solved regarding Reliance SMART & JioMart.

this will not kill dmart but yes it will gradually kill a big chunk of wholesalers and once this wholesalers and distributors are wiped out jio will have all the data of kirana store and slowly kill this kirana store too. leading to monopoly.

Very well summed up. Kirana stores provides goods in smaller qty, provides grocery on credit, does not issue bills, and they have an established identity in their area, which no one would wish to part. Branded products are not of relevance in such areas.

Jio Mart can beat Dmart and BigBasket and other retail players provided it acts like a traditional hero.
What is a traditional hero like?
A traditional hero is a hero who cannot control his powers in an awakened state, like Hulk or Goku in Ultra Instinct or Avatar.
What is the story behind a traditional hero? His powers are sealed, like Hanuman of Ramayan, and he can use them when he is in trouble in his childhood, but he cannot control those powers because his awakening is awakening inside sleep. Until he meets his counterpart, Ram, and turns into a novel hero, and he can awaken when he wants while controlling his powers in an awakened state.

The logic behind a traditional hero is he is extremely dangerous. His powers are outmatched to any of his opponents. That's why he is asleep. And he can use only a portion of his powers while in or out of the awakened state he is in. I know this sounds like a statement, and it is not logical. But it is a logic, which you cannot see because you do not have my eyes, and by eyes, I mean the third eye.

Simplification of this logic which would be understandable for you would be - the traditional hero is portrayed as a winner of the villain of and in the past. His powers are to an extremity, meaning you can do anything with and through those powers. The only limitation they have is they are not in the control of the entity, the hero who possesses his powers. He is asleep while using his powers. Which means, in other words, I can say that The hero is the hero because he is asleep, and he cannot control his powers while being asleep. (Notice that I wrote "Which means, in other words" - these words show that what I am writing is logic, and you are getting a high off of it - you are getting excited and amazed by these logics and you want more and more and more) If he was awake and if he had had control over his powers, he would be the villain, because the very definition of a villain is a hero who exerts control over others and a hero is a person surrendering to a higher power like a god.

What is the application of this logic in Jio Mart?
Jio mart has to scale into three different segments - the home delivery system like Grofers and BigBasket; the retail outlet of Kirana store; a huge outlet like D-Mart where you get a lot of choices and you can buy whichever thing you want in huge discounts.
And you have to be profitable at the very instant you start expanding in these 3 different segments.
Let's make an assumption that D-Mart is owned by Reliance.
Reliance has to portray D-Mart as another outlet like those Walmart in the USA which offers a variety of choices. The USP of these stores is they offer a huge discount on a variety of products.
It has to promote Jio Mart so that people who want to get deliveries of groceries to get them home delivered.
It also has to convert Kirana Stores into Retail outlets, where the choices are minimal of the most liked products.
We can discuss the USP, the target audience, etc. of all these 3 extensions of Jio, but its pointless unless we don't understand the core idea behind how to sell through these 3 segments of Jio Mart. There is a reason why I have written USP in the first choice (where portrayal of reliance as D-Mart).
Most people are working on USPs, to get the core idea which and that sells, but that idea is not the USP.

The core idea is to portray these 3 extensions of Reliance Jio as traditional heroes fighting against the common villain in the past. These are like the Shiva, the Shakti, and the Brahman - fighting against some demons who got a boon from Vishnu - and this entire statement is a joke - it has no relation with reality.
The common villain or the common enemy of Jio is the opposite of a traditional hero - which is, a novel antagonist. This antagonist is not a person or company - it is the idea of what an adversary is - and in what form this idea was faced by our forefathers.
The adversary of a big outlet like D-Mart is not being able to stock grocery supplies for an entire month or two. That too, where you are provided with all sorts of varieties at dirt-cheap prices. These stores will be the most profitable.
The adversary of Jio Mart which are kirana stores turned into retail stores are the fact that your nearby Kirana store lacks in one thing - he gives everything at MRP. In Reliance Retail Stores, you can get items at discounted rates. Another power of a Kirana store which is giving things at prices below MRP is that it is a bond that you share with the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper is your friend. Reliance Retail Stores need to create retail stores as better friends. This is less profitable than D-Mart but more profitable than BigBasket.
The adversary of Reliance Jio Mart turned as MilkBasket is it is for people who are extremely lazy. Laziness is capitalized in and by BigBasket. These people leave discounts and free will to choose and friendships to just be lazy. This will be the least profitable.

Now, the question is, once we know the common novel adversary, how can we use it?
What I will write is an Illuminati tactic. It's extremely evil if used by people who are asleep. But for people alive right now, it is all right. This Illuminati tactic is found in threesomes and foursomes. Have you ever seen a threesome? One guy fucking 2 girls? What is the excitement in it? The excitement in it is that one traditional hero is fighting 2 common novel adversaries. And the excitement is the sheer joy that the guy gets that he is being competed for by 2 girls. And Girl1 thinks that he likes me more than Girl2. And Girl2 thinks that the guy likes me more than Girl1. All these 3 people are fighting, without knowing the why. They are just "Fighting".

So, reliance has to use its 3 categories or segments of capturing the market as a way to fight the common adversary. And it has to create a foursome between the Kirana Store, the BigBasket, and Kirana King (or D-Mart provided D-Mart is not owned by Reliance).

I will just write a single sentence which will give sense to the entire thing I wrote previously, so the logic makes sense and the way to achieve what you want is clear = "Reliance has to beat all three categories (like D-Mart, Kirana Store, BigBasket) by splitting itself into the polar opposites of those three, thereby declaring the original 3 adversaries as null and void, because, those 3 in which reliance split is being owned by Reliance, and the original 3 adversaries are just trying to fight against each other by doing a foursome on Reliance. In other words, you just have to prove that reliance stands for love and meaningful relationships, whereas the 3 adversaries are performing a foursome on each other just to show off to their investors how profitable they are and will be inthe future, whereas, in reality, they are just filming a film to be uploaded on PornHub. PornHub is none other than the VCs burning investor's money".

As Jio Mart will depend on the Kirana stores for the last mile delivery, this it self is a big point of failure as currently in my experience Kirana stores take their time to make a delivery 20mns to a few hours. Zepto takes less than 10mns and no follow ups needed. Reason for the delivery delays cited by kirana stores is mostly lack of manpower. Delivery Service quality will be a issue especially given what the competition offers and thus increase the operation costs for a store as more delivery agents will surely be needed.

I hear many are getting unemployed bcs of this bcs jio offers huge discounts that others cant afford. Sooner or later they are gonna kill the competition, gain monopoly and then the show starts.
Definitely not a fan of monopoly- be it geopolitics, Indian politics or markets

2. Dmart have long queue problem. Where jiomart have home delivery edge over dmart. Dmart's home delivery really sucks.
3. Jiomart have one major issue with less inventory options per item or non availability of required grocery options. Whenever I want to shop my monthly groceries half of items are unavailable on jiomart.
