Worst Attempt To Set Up A Sequel? The Game Is On Award

The game was expeditiously on this year! Glad this segment is still going strong thanks to the sacrificial lifeblood of modern Hollywood blockbusters.

I always took The Kings Man's post credits to be quite tongue in cheek, they knew it's ridiculous and it'd be funny to hype up Hitler.

I think I’d have to agree that Morbius is the most Let the Games Begin The Game is On movie. Any other year, Black adam’s sheer confidence and immediate failure/dead end future would have it be the winner, and indeed it was voted by the listeners to be so- but Morbius’ just utterly baffling method of putting in Vulture after blatant reshoots/retooling, the hilariously lazy dialogue, and the fact that the whole movie’s marketing relied on the Vulture cameo to begin with… yeah Morbius morbed the game is on award for sure

The Hitler reveal is fucking hilarious

They need to do a cross-studio "The Game is On" franchise, where all the characters teased by "the game is on" moments come together because... multiverse or something. Oh SHIT, you can call the collective hero/villianscape in this universe "The Game". You can start with a single film that follows one of these characters, and teases the rest, but then the remaining movies never materialize. Call it "The Game Rises"

Why would you set up Superman vs Black Adam before Shazam, you know, the actual nemisis to BA?

Moonfall is absolutely the winner this year. The sheer desperation in wanting to remain relevant with these CGI big budget disaster films. Terrible.

In the context of what The Kings Man film is, the Hitler reveal is great, because of course he’s the Thanos of that Universe!!
(I voted Morbius because I’m still thinking about it, trying to understand how that was allowed to happen)

Should rename it to the 'I think this has something to do with Spider-Man' Award

in a way black adam is better because it at least have superman showing up, while in morbius, it's just a reference to spiderman. however, morbius is funnier and leads to better reactions while black adam is just boring. I haven't seen moonfall but it should be the winner, because what even is it
