This is an important message. I'm so tired of "organized" religion. You are right - you can't be a Christian if you don't want God. I would dearly love to find a group of Believers who want to meet God instead of just having a routine church "meeting".

I'm really confused with what's happening with the Reformed circles right now. What about "The Real David Platt" documentary? What about Pastor Platt's supporting the narrative of the "woke"? What about his previous comments equating being "white" and being "part of the problem"? If these things will not be addressed then you are promoting confusion, and that's evil. If this comment gets deleted instead of being answered, that's evil. We want answers! I am confused with your faithfulness, I have doubts, and so many brethren who are part of the 3rd world countries who used to listen to your preachings. This message is directed to TGC, T4G, Desiring God, John Piper, David Platt and the rest.

I would love to find a church that does that! It is BIBLICAL. Church is NOT to be a place for entertainment and jokes. If every church would do this, those prayers would change the WORLD. Countless of people would be healed, delivered from addictions, etc., and ‘actually’ SAVED.

NEED GUIDANCE: Christian leaders and authors need to hear this. I’m starting to wonder if my husband’s leadership even applies to our marriage because although he’s been saved for a couple of years, we unfortunately don’t have kids. This is a major problem when it comes to us reading Christian material on marriage and especially on our roles and on a husband’s leadership roles. I’m a Christian woman who is married for 15 years and I was with my husband for quite awhile before we were married and I became a Christian several years after us getting together and before we were married. He wasn’t a Christian until a couple years ago. I won’t get into all of the details as to why I ended up marrying him despite the fact that he wasn’t saved, thankfully God redeemed it and we have a great marriage now but I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone for many reasons but mainly because God says not to. Anyway, we wish we had children but we don’t and it’s too late now biologically (long story). The reason we ended up childless isn’t a single simple answer, it has many layers. We weren’t on the same page at the same time, I had health issues, but also he was worried about finances and then eventually he ended up having surgery because of cysts a couple years ago and now he can’t. I’m 43 now anyways but my cycle has been more regular than ever in recent years. Go figure! Anyway, the problem is that Christian marriage books, devotionals etc. ALWAYS talk about parenting to a higher degree than necessary and it’s really starting to get to me, triggers me and is confusing and discouraging. We wish so much that we were parents and it’s almost ALWAYS assumed that a Christian couple has kids and if they don’t then it’s either because they’re newly married and going to have them or they’ve tried every fertility treatment in the book and it hasn’t worked or at least those are the assumptions and that’s not the case with us. Every single time that a MARRIAGE book talks about a HUSBAND leading his wife it always says family or and kids. A husband and father aren’t the same role but they seemed to be used interchangeably in Christian marriage books and I’m sick and tired of it and it has to change. When reading/listening to anything about a husband’s leadership, kids come up every single time! A husband is only a husband to his wife not his kids, so please save most of that for parenting books. I don’t think anyone would argue that he needs to lead his kids. Parents are the leaders of their children. Yes, perhaps fathers play a unique role when it comes to leading their kids but does that really have to be constantly mentioned when talking about how to lead his wife? We unfortunately have no kids so does him leading me even apply? I always thought so but after reading/listening to so much Christian material on marriage, I’m starting to wonder because it seems as though a HUSBAND’S leadership can’t be brought up without mentioning their kids or “the family.” So there’s a LOT of confusion on how a husband’s role especially, even applies when the couple is childless. I just want to spread some awareness about this. Thank you for your channel and this isn’t directed to you personally at all! This is an issue I see continuously across the board in Christian marriage books, blogs, devotions, sermons etc. I’m at the point now where I don’t really want to listen to or read any Christian material on marriage because of it sadly, as we are in need of guidance. I wanna be clear that I know that my role is to submit to him. When he wasn’t a believer for so many years 1 Peter 3:1-6 was my life verse or passage for our marriage. However his role is particularly unclear in a childless home because every time it’s discussed as to what it should look like in real life, kids are literally ALWAYS brought into the conversation, whether it’s in a book, blog, devotional, sermon etc. Also we’re very open to adoption but there are other things that would have to fall into place first. I’m also concerned that my past health issues (long story) will disqualify me. The adoption process isn’t easy anymore. You have to be pretty near perfect to be approved and have to have a ton of money too. It’s no small process but putting it in God’s hands.
