Mi A2 Android Pie update is a gong show! Camera portrait mode is messed up, slo mode replay is messed up, front flash stays on and won't go off, fingerprint scanner slowed down, camera picture clarity took a hit, fingerprint scanner sometimes requires several attempts. These are some of the bugs that occur with the Mi A2 Android Pie update.

They rushed it so they could say it was out before the end of 2018. The user experience has diminished!

Absolutely smack on. I agree with you totally. Everything you have mentioned Frankie is correct. The phones you have picked were right in my eyes too. I think overall though Huawei has made slightly further strides than Xiaomi this year. Samsung and Apple are still premium phones but seem to come short on new ideas. Great video, i love lots of phones in one frame haha. I disagree with the best budget phone, its Redmi Note 5 in my opinion, but other than that really solid choices.
Huawei did great this year, even with flops like Honor 10 lite, and all those USA politics related problems they managed to make some of the best phones.
