The beaches look pristine but no way in hell I am risking my life in that boat. 21 hrs in a wooden sketchy boat and just sleeping on cardboard mats 😭 I don't know how u do it, Kulas. DOT should be paying u millions for risking your life. But thank you for showing how terribly neglected the southern part of PH is.

The Southern most province of the Country maintained its bucolic and idyllic state that should be preserved and cherished by the Nation for the sake of posterity.
Your Filipino centric content in spite of the high risks that are associated in this trip due to the known history of terroristic abductions is admirable.

Kulas and Kumar bra's, now you can say that you sailed overnight and slept under the midnight moonlight. That was so epic, so peaceful, especially the ocean. I was really worried for you in the beginning when I saw that sketchy boat but your a real trooper and powered right through. Would love to see you go out to the spratly islands ? A very heartfelt thank you, Kulas, for posting this series. My mom was born and raised in Tawi Tawi and she left during her youth to pursue her education. She subsequently moved to Ontario, Canada where my family now lives. Given the distance, it was exceptionally hard for her and her siblings to return. She's 81 years old this year and this series has allowed her to see how her beautiful island has progressed since she left. We've heard nothing but lovely stories and memories of this island. It has allowed her to reminisce with her remaining siblings of their time there. You'll never know how much this series has meant to her and our family. From one Filipino-Canadian to another, safe travels. ❤

my mom is from Jolo Sulu and Zamboanga city, we lived there for a while remembering some Filipinos would cross back and forth to Sabah to exchange or buy and sell from watches to pearls etc and with a speedboat that's how close both counries are and half brothers and sisters of my mom lives in Sabah
