Isaac left one hell and entered a whole another one.

Okay so... Marker Nicole instructs Isaac to "Make us whole again" by returning the Marker to the Pedestal Chamber, which Isaac does. Upon completing the task, Marker Nicole shows up and tells him "Thank you. We are whole again, Isaac. We are whole." - Great! So he did exactly what she asked him to do, right? So what the fuck is up with screaming in his face like that? Was that not what she wanted him to do? Screaming is not going to rectify this situation. If anything, it leaves us with less of having become whole seeing as she definitely ripped a hole in Isaac's eardrum with that fucking banshee shriek of hers!

The Red Marker is and always has been defective as fuck. I mean, it's already self-evident that the Red Marker is NOT an perfect copy of the original Marker. And just look at this utter fucking chaos it has wrought. Just another day in the life of humans being humans and fucking shit up!

Was the jumpscare changed at some point? I first played the game Summer 2022 and in most other videos I've seen; its not as clear that it's her. But this is what I saw when I finished the game.

Bought this game on clearance at Target for $12 back in 2009 for PS3, one of the best games I’ve bought to date. Going to buy the re-release for PS5 once the excitement settles down.

Ending jump scare is bugged

I like how rugged and drained he looks here compared to the remake. Also Nicole looks a lot better.

For a while, I thought that it was, in fact, Nicole, but she was an early stage necromorph that snuck on the ship.

Man the remake jumpscare is so weak compared to the original

This scare hits way harder then the remake definitely, also Nicole is hotter too in OG

What makes this ending spook better, is that Nicole was hidden from the player and she was fast

when Isaac escapes the planet and makes it into space. As Isaac watched the planet get destroyed after that Isaac was looking into the void of space then he began hallucinating.

I only ever played through the remake and I enjoyed the ending except for the final scene. The game was so effective at jump scares so in the remake I'm like wtf was that? You see her sitting there and then she jumps at you? I'm like...ok? This is much better done

Something that is wrong un this Games, are the endings, every single one is truly bad

The alternative ending in the remake was more disturbing

i don't know who looked at the remake's explosion when the asteroid hits and was like "yep this looks realistic" and passed it, but they should be reconsidered as a lead in the future. that was the most 90's power rangers tv show explosion i've ever seen. what a wet fart of an effect xD the og's is so much better

In the original you can even see Isaac holding his head from the hallucination

This Nicole jumpscare was so much spookier than in the Remake. In the new one, Nicole is just kind of sitting there in the chair, so it's immediately clear that he's about to have a spook. Here, she's crouched in the corner, it's unclear if it's a Necro or whatever. Plus, the blank eyes and pale face is scarier than the bloodied one in the remake.

man, I can't get over how good that takeoff scene is, from surface to orbit in just one take, it's incredible. and what I like is how, while a little cheesy, the ending jumpscare is vital to the story. it shows to us that while Isaac faced the reality of Nicole's death, it doesn't mean that it's over, as he is now haunted by the guilt. it also shows that the marker made a lasting impact on him, obviously

I hated the remake because they made everything better except literally the ending jumpscare but hey we got gender neutral woke bathrooms and more blacks and gingers on ishimurs this time for some reason
