Oh, dear You've insulted all the Turks, and possibly the Syrians in the audience as well, by moving Antioch (Antakya) back to Syria, where it hasn't been since the Ottoman Empire was a thing. (The Franks might be flattered, as it was an independent barony or duchy? I forget which, at one point, attached not to the Sultanate of Damascus but to the Kingdom of Jerusalem)
ОтветитьC'mon! You don't even look old how come you claim to be "Ancient"? Weird!!!! 😋
ОтветитьIs it just me or does Zeus have six toes?
Ответитьa note on the fact that there's no colors whatsoever, Greeks at least painted their temples and statues (in almost gaudy way by today's standard)
ОтветитьIdea make ai invent an 8th wonder
Ответить“What were they thinking?” Well, here’s the funny thing about that…
ОтветитьAs a stan of the Artemision I get a little upset every time someone says his name T_T
ОтветитьThe thing about the pyramid image is that it shows it after millennia of erosion, not what it would've looked like when it was first built.
ОтветитьLooks like the golf player of Rhodes
ОтветитьSomebody cleverer than I said recently that the problem with AI is that tech-bros have hyped it up so that ordinary people think it's like God, but in fact it's more like an automatic dog food dispenser.
ОтветитьFun fact. The bridge between faros and the main land is now a part of the land and the old island is now connected
ОтветитьNo comment on the AI Colossus of Rhodes wielding what appears to be a gold club?
ОтветитьI want that t-shirt!
ОтветитьThe "Temple of Artemis" image has 7 columns across its face! I've never heard of a temple with an odd number of columns where the centre (entrance) is a column and not a gap!
ОтветитьThe poor camera man! After Tristan ripped up the picture I was waiting for him to break out a lighter and burn the remains.
ОтветитьThe picture of the hanging gardens looks like the Radisson Hotel in Las Vegas.
ОтветитьI see "AI" i move on. Did not watch your video.
ОтветитьThe 8th wonder is how pasty this guy is.
ОтветитьJust one thing, stop rapping on the table.
ОтветитьToo generous.
ОтветитьThe AI Colossus totally looks like the Ray Harryhauser version.
ОтветитьIt’d be interesting to see what ai would come up with after a few iterations with his feedback
ОтветитьI see saw the 6 toes - but the fingers still look like 5 to me.
ОтветитьHow can you call any algorithm “Intelligence” when it fails to tell the difference between fact and fable.
Ответитьit was ADAMANT that the Mausoleum of Alicarnassus was depicted, the temple of Arthemis in Ephesus, like ALL Greeek temples, was not square but rectancular in plan, the sides twice as long as the fronts, and the steps leading up to the base were much less, I wonder how he could be in doubt about that!
ОтветитьNo one told stupid AI that human beings are supposed to have five fingers and five toes?
ОтветитьThat Colossus looks a bit like Talos from "Jason and the Argonauts."
ОтветитьI'm not an expert of the ancient time, but how are you supposed to burn down an all stone, temple?!?
ОтветитьI need a collab video with Tristan and Metatron. I feel like they would have waaaay too much fun!
ОтветитьI would like to propose that we drink every time this man says Halicarnassus. We would be drunk by the 12th minute marker!
ОтветитьYou can really tell that the production team had a go with this series. BAsically, anyone except your experts had fun with the AI-videos, huh? 😂Also: Why does the colossus looks liek he plays golf, watching his ball fly off to the distane?! AI
ОтветитьAI got the perspective wrong on the lighthouse, and that's disgraceful for a robot computer artist.
ОтветитьI'm reminded that these "wonders" are only well known because they were relatively close to Europe. Who knows how many other wonders there could have existed in ancient times around the rest of the world (China, Americas) that have since been lost to the ages.
ОтветитьWent into this without realising it was about wonders of the ancient world (for some reason, my iPad is hiding a lot of text from me…)
Pretty happy about getting all but the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and Temple of Artemis though, seeing as I’ve not come across them enough to even know them, let alone confuse the two
I kind of wanted to play along, but the timeline keeps spoiling it every time I happen to bump the mouse.
ОтветитьFYC it would be fun to let AI try to correct itself. I'd love to see part 2 of this show in which ai gets corrections and tries to be more historically accurate!
ОтветитьMy favorite gay historian! Thank you for educating us on this AI nonsense!
Ответитьthere is so much AI trash out there, please don't create new images for these videos 😭 that defeats the purpose of discrediting and boycotting it because its harmful to our minds and planet
ОтветитьThe Mausoleum has steps on the left that don't go anyplace. Straight to a wall.
ОтветитьThe statue of Zeus just looks like the Lincoln Memorial.
ОтветитьHow thorough are the people prompting the AI? Are they making multiple passes and tweaks, or are they just typing in "Colossus of Rhodes" and picking the best result out of 30?
ОтветитьZeus with 6 digits...well, he was a God!
ОтветитьWhy are you so nasty about the images? Think about it, an ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE made these images by itself from the information it had available. Perhaps compare the images with some Victorian images made by so-called archaeologists and historians? The technology is in its infancy, yet the presenter is so blase about how terrible the programmes efforts were - personally, I am shocked how good they are, considering. Just wait a few more years.
ОтветитьHaha loved this, it was so funny, entertaining and informative at the same time!
ОтветитьI'm more inclined to think that it was a lost-in-time reference from the real hanging gardens of Niniveh to the supposed ones of Babylon.
ОтветитьAI looks fkin awful. It all looks like a half-hearted cartoon. Big up to the proper artists out there 🎨✊️ AI has its place. Art is not it.
ОтветитьMy favorite thing about the Colossus comes from Pliny the Elder, who says that Demetrius had to abandon his siege equipment when he left, and that the Rhodians sold this equipment to fund the Colossus. Building a giant victory statue from your enemy’s weapons is such a gigachad move.
ОтветитьWouldn’t the great pyramid have been clad in marble with an electrum capstone?
Ответить
