I think id rather have a sequel. I also wouldn't want them to ONLY make it about the writers. I loved the interpersonal struggle they highlighted despite the struggle occurring in their overworld. The story needs to be touched on the human experience again and shouldn't stray too far from that if they choose to explore the story with the writers.

Only one i saw on "le bazars du grenier " channel , they says we got idea , and want to prove that game is not a luck , he want to do better whith the next tilte . But they don't work on it for the moment . They just enjoy the release and if the community want dlc then maybe they will do one.

I really only see a few routes they can go for DLC, and they'll have to confirm an ending as the true one for a lot of those routes. The only time in the canvas' history worth exploring is just before the fracture, and I think this is the most likely for DLC in this game. For a sequel, to expand the world, I say they take us out of the canvas and have us fight in the war of Painters and Writers.

The only DLC I will accept is with Expedition 60, the GigaChad / GigaMommy expedition

IF they do DLC I hope they go more in-depth with Clea and the Writers and hopefully she can join the party. This would be after you defeat her.

I think the previous expeditions could be in a TV show, each episode covers each expedition and the seasons over all arch would be about hot the point and feel changed through out the attempts.
I normally hate prequels myself but this is well set up for it in a different medium.
A few DLCs are fine but there's a clear focus opening up for the outside world that clearly needs to be explored in future games. Musicians, painters, writers, and what they can do and what kind of world let that be a possibility.

Expedition 60 DLC PLEASE!

Honestly, it feels like it’s the first time in a long time that a game has been released in its entirety. None of that half baked ass shit that gets released these days that keep you waiting for more. This is a full entire story and the best part of having a dlc is that it would probably feel like it just adds more to the story instead of some quick cash grab. I’d take a sequel over dlc.

Id be down to play a DLC that covered what Maelle and Sciel were independently up to before the party caught up with them.

Id say the Writers vs. Painters fued,but that would probably require its own game. Ultimately,that's where a continued universe story should lead.

Id also be down for continuing the current party following whatever ending is considered Canon. Though I don't see how they do it,unless they write two separate stories covering whatever choice you made on your final save.

I have Zero interest in the previous expeditions, besides maybe expedition 60. The way they're described in the journal entry,they were God mode and accomplished it in the nude.

When they made this game they were just having fun and then created an incredible masterpiece. They didn’t have any eyes on them, but now they do. I’m not trying to be negative, but I worry that the stress and pressure will harm their future content. We will see. If they can continue to make a good DLC and future games then they will establish themselves as a trusted studio for sure. I’m playing the game on my new PC and loving it.

Any DLC that involves Gustave would be pretty far fetched, as Charlie Cox is balls deep in Daredevil right now and not available and I doubt the audience would accept anyone BUT Charlie Cox as Gustave.

One word for a sequel that was touched on even in the game: The Writers.

I think a sequel would be very difficult to make as good as this game. This game had a lot to say, and I think they’ve said it, without room to expand on it. Every aspect of the story the lore and the world are so tied to the theme of the game that they would have to do something drastic to make room for a sequel. Furthermore, I think that what was so captivating to me about this game (obviously the characters) was the mystery. I’m not sure what they could do to evoke the same level of mystery in a sequel. I think they would be better suited to make a new story with new loveable characters and a new mystery, cause I think that’s so much of the draw until the close of act 2 (again besides the flawless character work)

i want a full visual on the “Romance” that happens with Sciel and with Lune, i need to see it 👀

Actually within the story there is a war between the painters and the writers… the writers are the ones who burned the manor down and caused the real verso’s demise along with dire injuries to maelle/alicia. I believe the dlc could go more in debt into who the writers are and their beef with the painters

So I’ll save everyone 8 minutes…there’s no DLC right now, the developers haven’t confirmed DLC release, fans would like DLC.

I’d love for DLC for the main game (more endless tower maybe?) and maybe an expedition 00 storyline. Kinda like the Galadriel shadow of war storyline - something short but fulfilling. Then a sequel game with the writers

We need an update where we can choose which music to play in the world map. There are so many good music in the game but why only in the camp when we spend more time outside of the camp.

I think a direct sequel based on one of the endings would be bad. I think a sequel based on Clea’s war with the writers would be interesting or a prequel about the canvas that Renoir/Aline created before the fire so we could get to know who they were before verso’s death

I would be more than happy with just a couple of new areas and a proper endless mode with unique pictos. You can't do a sequel but maybe a prequel? Expedition 00 with Verso, Clea, Julie and Simon.

Look at all the other once great studios though that ended up releasing live service crap and going to the wayside. Hopefully this studio is different.
