My German Shepherd never leaves me alone either...
ОтветитьWe never had a problem about our dobie following us or having anxiety. He would just sleep or walk in the yard and never follow anyone to a bathroom. Maybe you made your dog too attached to you?
ОтветитьI just got me a pup few days ago and yes first time Doberman dad lol I'm so glad I found your channel man. So easy to understand and I'm soaking in all the info. I'm 100% committed and 4 days in. This little guy is family already. Thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьSounds like owning a Weimaraner. Looking into Dobermans for next dog in the future
ОтветитьHelp I’ve adopted a broken Doberman…. As a long time Dobi owner / lover. Need help!
ОтветитьSo true. 100% accurate. I'm on my fourth adopted Doberman and can sincerely say that it is all worth it.
Ответитьlabradoodle was similar lol
ОтветитьTrying to watch this video on my phone as my 8 month old Dobie is jumping on me wanting to go for another walk 🤣
ОтветитьOMG loved this video, so much great information. I owned a doberman years ago, when He was in the bitey puppy stage, it hurt and drew blood. Our dog used to hunt from the moment it woke up in the morning till he went to sleep at night. I wish I knew the training techniques used today in hindsight. But still the best most loyal dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
ОтветитьI'm planning to buy a Doberman but I have a five year old chihuahua. Is it safe? How is Doberman with other breed of dogs? How much does dog food does it consume per day?
ОтветитьI've had two and best dogs ever your just a wimp I've had maybe 20 other dogs never had problem you have maybe it you you should get a poodle most your saying is B.S
ОтветитьIf i leave my dobie with somebody he will howl nonstop until I get there. Not whining. HOWLING.
ОтветитьIf you don't like these behaviors, get a goldfish!
Ответить"Ask me how I know.." .. Our Dobby is 2 yo, I know.
ОтветитьI rescued a dobe 4 months ago. And it’s driving me crazy
ОтветитьI really want Doberman.
ОтветитьThe most anoying thing that my two year old doberman does is she likes to pick up just about anything. And so I have to watch her like a hawk. Especially when she's outside.
ОтветитьMy interpretation on the leash issues are the dogs feel like being physically attached to you feels like extra pressure on them to keep you safe
ОтветитьA man with a bun should not have a Doberman! NO!
ОтветитьI don't see this link to the camera...I want it but want to order it through you❤
I adore my Mexican Doberman.
Hola John from Merida Yucatan 👋
Just wanted to say thank you for all the tips I’ve had my boy for 4 almost 5 years got him and his brother as strays when they were about 6 months and your videos helped me raise some of the most well behaved and smartest dogs. I won’t be able to raise another dog when mine passes. I’m truly appreciative of every video you’ve posted.
Ответитьbuy a large bench instead of a basket, train the dog that this is his safe place... when he comes home there is always a cookie in the bench... my dobers flew into the bench
don't whine all day...
The dober likes to be with the family, so the crates were in the living room.
They can't break anything and they can't show pushy behavior.
I wonder if a dobie would be right for me... i have CPTSD and I have a tendency to stare off into the air for long periods of time when left alone. I get nothing done. Maybe a velcro-dog would be good for that?
ОтветитьHere's your answer. Don't get one. They're annoying. They're dumb. They're fuglie.
ОтветитьAs im yelling at mine to get on his side of the bed.
ОтветитьThis is so true
ОтветитьPlus they whack you with their tails, it can really hurt.
Ответитьim getting good eats vibes outta the intro song
ОтветитьI haven't looked at the guy in like 10 years but this dude seems like genetically really similar to how I remember that Tim Ferris guy haha.
ОтветитьIf you wanna have a Dobermann successfully, you need to socialize it A LOT, and giving them a job - tracking is the best. Unfortunately most Dobie owners are lazy as f***, just keeping him in the backyard and... Wait for it.. You got a dog with huge issues! Don't get a working breed if you can't spend the time working with your dog every day! Easy - like fat people. Oooh, why am I so fat??? Because your calorie intake is greater than what you burn, stupid. Simple mathematics...
ОтветитьI just got a dobbie and I love him already! Though he loves me more he never leaves me alone 😂
ОтветитьOh just stop trying to make our dobermans are so bad. Piss off. I've had them my whole life. It's how you bring them up...
ОтветитьThe anxiety when you are gone is a huge one. Especially if you are a family that travels often. Even for weekends. Doberman's really suffer emotionally when you are away.
ОтветитьLove them it’s how they are raised ours was the best
ОтветитьMy favorite thing about my Doberman Lena is that she follows me every where my cat Piper, Lena and my daughter all in tow no matter where I go 😊. As for her anxiety when I’m gone she is never left alone my 12 year old son is home all day with her or my father however she is so bonded to my daughter and I that she kinda just sleeps all day for him but that works out bc he loves to play his games and this is his first dog so her being chill all day has worked out for us but I do feel bad bc I’m pretty sure she is sad im gone.
ОтветитьTo help with them not wanting to be alone. Would having another dog be helpful in that situation?
Ответить👍👍💯🇺🇸
I get along with my Doberman better than my last 3 wives.
My cats regularly never leave me alone. I feel safe when they’re next to me. They follow me nearly everywhere. When I had my Chihuahua she was a bit independent. But every day for 16 years she would hop out of her bed, come to me checking, and go back to her bed. She wasn’t one to follow me around. But a Doberman following me around I would feel safe and loved.
I had met a Doberman. It was only our second meeting and my friend left me with him to go into the house for a little chat. Leo was right by my side. We cuddled. I’d get up and walk around to stretch my legs, he would not only be with me but he would be touching me as we walked he was that close. I couldn’t understand why he was that with me, a total stranger, only the second visit but I felt safe with him. He was also part German Shepherd and you could see it a little in his face. He had a Doberman companion I didn’t feel comfortable with. Leo made sure he didn’t come near me.
Leo did test me a couple times but we settled it and he became Velcro. And I loved every minute. But I complained when I heard that his owner tried to make Leo and his companion mean. I was banned from ever coming back. That was around 1980 or 81. To this day I miss Leo.
I knew someone with. Rottweiler. Lucky was a big goof and loved my lap. I knew a German Shepherd runt when I was a kid and she was great. I lived with a friend of mine and her husband who had four German Shepherds. The eldest one, Satan, wasn’t much for strangers but we hit it off well from the first time I met him which surprised his owners.
From what I’ve seen so far that you’ve shown, looks great. But me being small, and only used to having a small dog, and not much of an active person I don’t know if a Doberman could put up with me as I can be moody.
Owned Dobies for over 40 years and never had one on a table.
Ответитьsounds like our Havanese and Bullmastiff lol
ОтветитьAre there different types of Dobermans? Like the working breed vs. non working?
ОтветитьAnd that's why I love them.
ОтветитьThe drooling is a deal breaker for me. I’ve always loved them so much otherwise.
ОтветитьI don't agree with what he says and i own Doberman since 1992 and im current,y on the 9th Doberman all european doberman from wotking lines
ОтветитьI have had a few Dobermans in my life. Forever and ever home, mine are super close. Love cuddles, but independent , no anxiety, super chill , bask in the bay window.
ОтветитьWhat a sweet baby.
ОтветитьI love my max but yes they are some what of a pain in the ass
