It's so nice to listen to this episode over & over, knowing that Jeremy had a lot of fun - one of the best episodes. .

Jeremy Hardy was always my favourite. He'd construct these 360 degree summations that would make everyone seem ridiculous. Sort of like South Park, but in a single long-winded sentence.

Just to add a bt of info... the hero who was given a firefighters job ... his childhood dream was being a FIREMAN.

I only met Jeremy once. What a lovely man he was. I had been to a recording of the News Quiz and for a dinner after and shared a taxi home. He insisted that the cab took me home first and wouldn't accept a contribution to the fare.... which I could have afforded.
