Yoooooooo that same dude stopped me at a Home Depot parking lot in the Bronx NY. He tried that same scam with me saying he needs gas he lives out of town and his credit card doesn’t work. He pulled out that same ring. I told him no. He was in a black SUV. Looks like he upgraded. Glad you recorded him know others can see his face.

Honestly id be more willing to believe someone if they weren't carrying 'gold'. Could say you forgot your card and just need $10 to get back home

People do this crap in Utah a lot! Rent a car then put kids in or families. Also families on the corner. They literally make more money than most! I always call them out especially in cars and tell them to stick around for the police to help them do exchanges! I've been homeless living in my car for almost 5 years and never on a corner or begging!!!

I remembered a lady came up to me at the self car wash asking for money for “Gas”. She had her daughter with her and I do carry cash on me but I already knew it was a scam. She didn’t offer me any but I gave her 75 cent because all I carry is 20$ and $100 bills. She gave me a stank face once she got the 75 cent and I was just like 🤷🏾‍♂️. Be grateful I even gave you my loose change but these people don’t care 😆
