I love all God's Majestic Creatures but some of them really hold an extra tender spot in my heart ❤️ and Elephants 🐘 are one of my emotional 😢 💔 bonds. It really bothers me in this late date and time how any human could brutally harm, abuse, torture, and mistreat such a beautiful and gentle giant such as Manu and so many others that have journey before him. To cause such abusive bodily harm, infective wounds, abscess, scars. Blindness in both eyes and such fatigue to where Manu couldn't even stand up any longer due to exhaustion and passing out is completely unforgivable.

I'll never understand how people can be so cruel and torture these beautiful, majestic and kind animals. (Any animal, actually.) I've been so worried about him, but now he's safe in good hands and can start the long way to heal both physically and mentally. It's a balm to my soul to see him happily munching on his welcome feast. I've been following your work for years but it still amuses me how the rescued elephants seems to sense goodness in you and trust you after decades of abuse. Thank you for your entitlement and hard work! ❤❤

I received email containing the injuries suffered by manu and to my shock he is even blind and yet used for rides by his owner.really surprise the wildlife SOS agency can let the owner go off without shaming h8m in public to deter such owners as public shaming work best in india as its a corrupt country .I m surprised this sos agency do nothing productive to deter such animal abuse than coming up with petitions which are dead letters to India government

Donated. Due to financial circumstances I do so whenever I can. I wish it was regular and monthly but not possible at the moment. As another supporter said, I too am sickened at the abhorrent treatment of this gentle bull. His freedom taken and then his sight, all the while subjected to vile abuse. What has he done to deserve this? Not a thing. The plight of so many Asian Elephants is desolute. They walked this earth long before humans arrived and should live freely, as is their birthright. They are not the "property" of wicked mankind to be used for "entertainment" or as a replacement for machines and forced to pull heavy logs. They are highly intelligent, social, family loving creatures. Human/animal conflict can be resolved without violence. They feed where they have always done so but then we take away their natural habitat. Instead of inflicting horrific violence on Elephants, people need to get together and work out a mutually beneficial solution. It can, and indeed is being done, in other areas. Manu, there are no words to truly express my sorrow, shame and regret for what you have endured - and sadly so very many others like you - but you will not be inflicted with further abuse here. God knows your existing injuries are dreadful enough. You will know only love, respect and kindness now. And lots of bananas! Thank You Wildlife SOS. 🧡🐘🧡🙏🙏
