I was pretty messed up at 20 (when this show came out) and thought i was "cool" cuz i could laugh at and appreciate the humor. Didnt realize i was falling for the idea that women were less than. Took me a minute to come back from that harmful self picture.

I could ALMOST excuse the televised skits as poorly-communicated satire (I won’t though lmao), but that entire excuse falls apart when you have men harassing women in real life. You can’t excuse a man chasing a woman down the street and shouting at her to have sex with him. You can’t excuse men making fun of women who don’t understand English and exploiting their misunderstanding on TV.

The year was 2004 i a small six year old get up in the middle of the night to get a cup of water to see my father in the t.v. room watching a show where a father is comforting his daughter telling her there are no monsters under the bed. Only for a huge booger creature with the scariest red fly eyes grabs the dad pulls him under the bed and eats him where the daughter starts crying. And that was my introduction to the man show. Crying curled up in the kitchen covered in my dropped cup of water.
