Easily MIDI Map Serato Stems to DDJ-REV1

See I did this with the Trans pad mode because I made auto loop my saved loops, but it doesn't work quite like that on Trans. If you hold the pad it still does the Trans cut pattern and the pad doesnt light up to let you know status. Just a warning to those who want to remap to that mode

I have a Pioneer DDJ SX3 and was able to map successfully for STEMS but the pad lights don't work. It's stays on white, when I activate or deactivate STEMS. Please help if you know what am doing wrong.

I have an sx3 and I configured the mapping via midi but deck 2 does not cut the audio with the crossfader if it stops deck 1 cutting

Literally blown away, I’m using caveman serato and looking to upgrade to possibly the Rev 1 due to its big platter, the fact the I can do this is just nuts!

I’m having an issue to where the loop functions are still assigned to the buttons

thanks. this helped due to my drops being under sample stems took over it via serato. so now i can change it to this perhaps and still have my drops 💪🏾

Anyone have any issue where the midi button isn't highlighted to be able to select it? I have my Rane One connected but can't push the midi button to map them.

UPDATE - I discovered you have to go into options and ensure 1-your controller is on display as a MIDI device, click on the controller from the list and then place a check into the ALLOW SERATO HARDWARE REMAPPING option box above the controller name on the list. Then you can go back to the main screen and hit the MIDI button and program.

Buuuuut.....
I was able to program my top 4 stem buttons like in the video under what I thought was dedicated to the ROLL function. All four buttons turned white and they seem to work. But the snag I'm having now is I can't get back to my original top 4 HOT CUE function buttons unless I go back to the settings and unclick the ALLOW SERATO HARDWARE box. Either this or restore the defaults altogether.

When I tried redoing the buttons under the ROLL function, it again turns the top 4 buttons I program white and they work, but if I click the HOT CUE, SAVED LOOP, SAMPLER, OR SLICER buttons, the white buttons stay there. And I can only get rid of them by restoring the defaults again.

What am I missing? I only want to adjust the top 4 cue buttons under the ROLL function for the top 4 stem controls. This vid is a year old now, has the process changed at all?

My midi is locked do yall know why?
