I was a die hard DeWalt 2 full kits then they the battery design to side couldn't get the old batterys. Milwaukee all the way now

I recieved 2 big Dewalt battery banks with 8 battery’s for free and that was the start of my Dewalt path.

I went with DeWalt also. Milwaukee is very pricey. BUT I got Milwaukee Pack out tool boxes.

Company I started with was dewalt company I’m with now is all Milwaukee. I definitely prefer Milwaukee

DeWalt and milwaukee are both fantastic tool brands. I prefer DeWalt, but Milwaukee is a good contender. However, a lot of the contractors in my town swear by Makita.

Variety is the spice of life. Currently running Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, and Flex.

Im more of a Milwaukee guy, but dewalt seems cool.

I personally prefer Milwaukee tools, but that's mainly because I'm in Wisconsin and they have their tools everywhere

Not really if you buy dealt and Milwaukee tools then you can buy both for different occasions.

Nice investment. DeWalt takes the cake for construction and Milwaukee really shines in automotive with their compact impact wrench lineups and other tools. Milwaukee is good for construction too, it's just DeWalt has always been more geared towards construction since day 1 of that brand's existence. I have an older 20V Max tool combo kit I believe it's only four tools and a little jobsite radio that I got on dale at Fleet Farm for around 300 and something dollars. I personally don't really have any tool brand loyalty, but I own more Dewalt cordless powertools. Take that for what you will. Lol. Some Harbor Freight for basic hand tools also.

Buy what the bossman uses. If you are buying as a homeowner, buy corded if you can, much cheaper. You can mix and match corded brands, buy what you like. If you have to buy a battery tool, do your research and try to stick with a brand or two. Nothing wrong with having a Makita charger and a Milwaukee charger and few batteries for each. Pretty sure the yellow stuff carries disease but i’m not sure. Any of the “doityourselfers” should have a battery drill, probably an impact and either a circ saw or sawzall or both. The big 3 run specials on a bundle all the time. I only run Makita for battery stuff but that’s what the bossman used. Fell in love.

I have a very serious power tool. Addiction, I am a diehard Dewalt guy, every tool I own is Dewalt. I honestly think i'm only three tools, shy of having everyone in their twenty volt, max collection.I've also just started to get the sixty volt.I purchased a chainsaw in a worm drive saw so I can test those products out.I'm very excited to dig in.

I have milwakuee, makita, rigid. I bought the batteries on clearance and some tools on clearance. Now when i go to buy a new tool i can be on the look out for more clearance 😂

No need to make a decision just buy a two piece kit from each brand. Then your good for life. But then of course , Makita comes out with its 40volt series. But just buy the best from each brand. Even Ryobi is handy to have. Then when a tool company is the first to market your all good to go.

Makita man. Ive used dewalt, I’ve used not much but a little Milwaukee. And don’t get me wrong, they both make a fine product, some of them even performed better than my makita. But my makita is comfortable, ergonomic, does what I need, my local hd pushes makita deals a lot more than the other brands (Ryobi obviously being the exception) and i got my first makita tool (xdt16, their newest impact at the time) for like 80 bucks brand new on eBay. Ryobi makes a decent tool, i started with black and decker and even they lasted a few years of pretty decent use. But makita forever

Unfortunately, none of these professional rules built to last they built the last enough that you don’t complain when they break, but they are definitely meant to be replaced frequently to make more money

I went with worx brand myself. Rock solid for DIYers. I've had my impact driver for like 8 years the tool and battery still work like new.

funny that im a ride or die makita guy, but most of my tools are dewalt and carry them in my milwaukee packout lol. dewalt just has so many deals, and their batteries are so cheap 😂
