This is gonna work out wonderfully, just give Bama 6 months to get their high level recruits a chance to visit Tuscaloosa so they can see the vision/future of this new era of Bama football! We really comin, not just talk! Anybody who’s foolish enough to write the Tide off will be proven wrong again like Alabama has done so many times previously!

Never imagined that the University of Alabama's football program would have a GM!!! I'll go to my grave supporting Bama football, but I hate what college football has become!!! Need to open up the portal once a year and put a salary cap on NIL!!! Just gonna be a even bigger shit show!!! RTR!!!

My excitement level is 10. I think we have the top staff in college ball. Great interview guys, I couldn't help but notice how polite and high quality Cortney is, the same for Kalen. He has surrounded himself with very high quality people. And they all seem to have aplan and protocol. The SEC is about to get shell shocked.

These gentlemen are asking excellent questions and Courtney is doing an excellent job answering them but I was already in his corner when he stepped off the plane with KD that's a level of trust and commitment you don't see it speaks volumes about the future efforts to continue the greatness of ROLL TIDE

What does the GM of a college team do? Didn't realize this job existed. Did they have a GM when Saban was there? Do they all have GMs of the university football team? Sounds like a job that can potentially have power struggles internally when making important decisions. "Well I'm the GM and what I say goes." "Ok well I'm the head coach and what I say goes." "Well I'm the athletic director and I'm in charge." Seems like too many cooks in the kitchen.

The general manager of a college football team does not assemble a roster. That is not his role. We're not yet to professional sports level. The low is the description of what agent will manager for a college football team does.

"The General Manager is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA."

More Bama episodes please. I like seeing interviews with assistant coaches and staffers when you can get them. It’s more insightful in some ways than just hearing from head coaches and marquee players. Also a breath of fresh air from interviewing other talking heads. No offense, but media guys aren’t really equipped to give insight unless you’re a guy like T-Bob, Cole Cubelic, Greg McElroy - played/coached and fairly recently. Overall nice job, and let’s see more Bama!

Nick Saban did the most beneficial thing for our program. He unselfishly retired so Bama could transition while still being to keep up with the format of college football

It is going to be VERY interesting to see what our roster looks like after Spring Practice and going into summer!!

*IF healthy a person would have to be out of their mind not to love our RB room...
*IF THAT WR is out there and we can get him? We will...IF not? We are loaded with untapped potential in that room...THAT will be DEVELOPED correctly. Finally.
*Depending on the development of our 2nd Year OL+3 1st year guys this spring? I look for us to bring in a minimum of 1-2 MORE starting caliber O-Linemen.....
*We surely will be bringing in some more playing experience guys for our secondary...
*We may need another guy in the ILB room...At least...
*IF THAT interior DLineman becomes available,even with all our experience? We would take him in a heartbeat.....We are NOT done bleeding out in that room...IMO...
*Our Edge room is going to be fun to watch evolve....A LOT of young and/or inexperienced talent in that room...We will,I assume,continue to play some Over/under techniques with 3 Bigs and an OLB type...Overton could REALLY blossom,along with James Smith+Renaud...

THE QB battle is going to be fascinating to watch!!!It will be interesting to see what Simpson and/or Milroe do IF they dont come out of Spring Practice as the "Obvious" starter. Same with Lonergan. So it will be a REAL possibility that we have to bring in another QB,or 2...

IF you believe in CKD and Coach Grubb? And I do. I am totally bought in... IF you are you realize 2 things that are VERY obvious.
1)First of all they brought in ,and totally believe,that Austin Mack is a MUCH better prospect than Sayin. And I agree. Much bigger. Much Stronger. Just as fast or faster. Just as athletic. Bigger arm. Just as much arm talent or more. One and a Half years younger than Sayin,with a year under his belt experience running Coach's system. A NO-Brainer...
2)Austin Mack has been brought in with the ticket+"permission" to not only compete for the QB job,but go win the job. Can he? I believe 100% he can. IF not? Another valuable year of learning,and based off what Coach demands from the position? Someone has drastically IMPROVED....RTR
