There is a lot of unnecessary red tape in the Philippines. The heat and humidity is oppressive year round so if coming stay inside with air conditioning during midday and stay hydrated if your outside… My wife has duel US/PH citizenship so I can enter with her for up to 1 year without doing anything but pay a few fees. After 1 year, I could leave the country for a week for a trip and come back in with her and my 1 year restarts. No need for a PH bank account as long as you have a brokerage account. Most will let you transfer or withdraw money from ATM's without any fees. They even pay the ATM fees at certain banks like BDO.

Her language skills are that of a native English speaker. Very impressive. The Quota visa is one I’ve looked into before, only 50 people per year or something like that from each qualifying country.

Is SRRV for retired military age 76 worth the money. I have lived in Makati two years and return to US twice a year to visit family and friends.

Nice thing about the Philippines is that most of the troubles are in Tagalog on TV and radio and in print so you won't even know they are happening. Walk fast and keep your head on a swivel when you are outside. Shit happens to drunks after midnight. Don't be drunk and get home by midnight. Anyone hanging out on a street instead of heading to somewhere, or selling something from the sidewalk is waiting to prey on you. Keep walking.

The 10k or 20k. You put it into there banking account...is not refundable...I know gut 18 month's.. trying to get he's deposit back but there's always a a reason not to refund

So you should look at this ,,, deposit,, as a fee... Kiss that good by...
And the yearly ,, maintains,,$500+...

Been watching your channel for sometimes, now I know basically what I need as documents. I have no problem getting all of these and my country has good diplomatic relationships. I live in the Seychelles, regarding costs Seychelles is between 30 to 60% more expensive to than in the Philippines. I do not need the western lifestyle to be happy but i need a place to stay in a house close to all amenities.

This police clearance information is incorrect. You DO NOT need to get your police clearance prior to leaving the US. I received my SRRV in June 2024. I completed my police background clearance online in May 2024. I printed it out here in the Philippines and it was accepted by the PRA. Please correct your video so that the information is factually correct. Thank you.

The problem with a digital nomad visa is that it would have severe negative consequences for the locals in terms of housing. Landlords will up their prices for the western immigrants, unfortunately pricing Filipinos out.

Question, do you take the time to edit your sound? It sounds very unbalanced and lots of background noise making it unpleasant to listen to.

I am abit confused with the 36 months tourist visa extension, is it possible to keep renewing by leaving the country and coming back so I can stay for more than 3 years?

Also if i leave after it expires, how long will i need to stay out of Philippines in order for the visa to reset so i can stay for another 36 months?

Can you work online for a US company legally on the SRRV? I am considering 13A so I can work online part time. I have Filipina wife. How long does an exit clearance take if I have a family emergency in the US and want to go there right away?
