Scream 7 (Melissa/Neve) Update, CHUCKY News, I Know What You Did Cast News, SAW XI update + MORE

It's sad we will never go back to Sam story ever again since VII is rumored to have a huge time jump.

Melissa's comments basically prove that she has nothing against Neve Campbell doing Scream 7. She just wished that she had reached out to her about the situation.

Melissa was fired cause of her comments on world events and supporting fucked up shit point blank she should of stfu and kept her opinion to her self and she would of still had a role in scream and a job lmfao she got what she deserved

I've even thought myself that Melissa doesn't spend time thinking about Scream 7 and who's signed on to it. I've also never believed she's had a grudge with Neve on this. All is good with Neve and Melissa. Both actresses have other projects coming up. Neve doesn't have to do Scream, she just chooses do Scream. She's also not desperate. Tuning down a Scream movie was a big clue on that.

How I read it: Melissa is disappointed, yet she also understands the business and doesn't hold a grudge againist Neve.

Predator in animated form, I’d watch it.
Saw XI, I still haven’t seen Saw. I can’t give an opinion

As for Scream, idk who’s trying to push beef on these two. Melissa doesn’t seem like the type to do that with her any of costars or crew (maybe the studio) and Neve is graciously doing this film for the fans of the franchise. I think this like an outside PR stunt but doubt since Scream doesn’t play dirty PR stunts.

And Chucky, I’m definitely sure the wackiness is a tonal issues yet the premise at this point kinda needs it cause of absurdity to Chucky and how he always comes back. But I rather the wackiness to fart jokes (those are just lazy humor)

Let’s face it. The only reason Neve got her money was because Spyglass got desperate after chasing away Melissa and Jenna and had backed themselves in a corner. They clearly didn’t want to pay her. They didn’t for Scream 6 when they weren’t desperate. It seems to me like Neve is taking advantage of other actresses bad deals when during Scream 6 she acted like she was doing what she did for other actresses. It’s a sad situation.

She started her career as a band member with Wild Cherry and is associated with Charli XCX. She has a pretty big IG following and is a model. She’s also dating some guy named Matt Healy. She’s in a band or something.

There are so many worse studios than Spyglass. I don’t know why people are so determined to boycott Spyglass when every studio is guilty of doing terrible things. Hating on either of these wonderful women is just puzzling.

I'm not really against the whackiness of Chucky, but, I understand why some are. This doll was originally meant to be legit threatening and serious. When he's constantly throwing out quips and stuff like he's Spider-Man or something, u get more laughs than u should. The franchise wasn't started as a horror comedy. It was just horror. Ever since Bride, Chucky hasn't felt like Chucky. Also, that "story continuity is a priority" is complete BS and everyone that notices the retcons (one even being changed within the episode it was introduced) knows for a fact Don doesn't pay as much attention to the continuity as he should.

In regards to the wacky tone the Chucky series has ... This is a Franchise about a living Villainous Doll ...there's only so much seriousness that can be included

Totally understand what you’re saying about I know what you did last summer however Ben Willis specifically targeted Julie and her friends mainly Julie so instead of making a third one with a brand new cast, they will be better off rebooting it, or have the killer going after her daughter or something

The animated Predator stories I would love to see. Not excited about another movie from the Prey team though... I hated the meathead predator and I hated the movie (Comanche speaking English?! FO. And no I'm not gonna watch some silly dubbed after the fact stuff.)
