Heathcliff Farrugia is the Chief Executive Officer at the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). He joined the MGA in 2014, in the role of Chief Operations Officer and was pivotal in the Authority’s subsequent transformation process. In 2016, he was appointed as Chief Regulatory Officer, where he was responsible for all Regulatory aspects of the Authority, with four teams focusing on Regulatory Supervision, Authorisations, Compliance and Player Support. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester, UK, and is a member of the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF) and the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR).
