Another fix would be a % damage transfer from right side torso to the shield. This would lead also to new quirk experimentation.

Magic Pain Glove pointed out recently that the Red Reaper's look and warhorn was inspired by Doom (Tiyos confirmed this). Thats why the warhorn pretty closely resembles the track BFG Division from Doom's soundtrack.

Should be able to choose which side to mount the sheild.

My RR2 is treating me well, but that may be because I discarded the SRM completely to field twin HPPCs and quad SPLs. I have no need or incentive to lock myself into a large XL, and because I mostly fight at mid-range I get more time to twist the shield into position while at the same time, the other team doesn't get such wide angles on me.

why did they have to go left-handed on the mech....

if they filled that gap on the shield wouldn't it create a huge blind spot?

It's a decent brawler. It's not as crappy as the latest Clan Legend. Its weakness is if people forget to torso twist and shield with the shield and the right torso. You blow the right torso off, the shield is gone. Right torso needs a bit more armor or structure. The current meta is pretty brutal to it though. You should probably counterpush with this mech.

I have a feeling we will be having a lot of hangar queens in the future of MWO. But damn if it doesnt look cool.

Yeah that shield is really next to useless in that form.

For the cost of one sandwich in this dystopian future you can instead starve and buy a red reaper.
